Translation Notes

Kilimanjaro
You should probably know this as a famous mountain in Africa. Also remember that there is no "l" sound in Japanese, so this IS a pun that uses "kirin" (giraffe) in the beginning.

Tatsumaki
A Dragon Roll is a kind of Sushi that you may have eaten at sushi restaurants. Tatsumaki is also the Japanese word for Tornado.

Hen-chikirin & Mou-chikirin
A chikurin is a bamboo forest, and Oda decided to slightly change the pronunciation to make these puns.

Asura
An Asura is a Buddhist demon god addicted to the four worldly passions: wrath, pride, boasting and bellicosity.
From Wikipedia: "The state of an Asura reflects the mental state of a human being obsessed with force and violence, always looking for an excuse to get into a fight, angry with everyone and unable to maintain calm or solve problems peacefully."

Shura
Note that the Japanese actually pronounce "Asura" as ashura, which brings us to the concept of the path of shura - a path of extreme violence.

Ichibugin
This is another pun. An ichibugin is also a "silver quarter ryou", a Japanese currency that was common before modern times.
