Thanks for the wait. Cultural references sure can be annoying...but educational.

EDIT: Done. If you find any missing bubbles, typos, etc please post. I did this over an entire day because of the research it took, so it's possible there's a mistake or two. Thanks for your patience, and scanlators, you don't have to insert my notes except for the two I mentioned specifically, I feel those are essential to understanding the text.

Also: Omake will be posted in a separate thread. Keep in mind no english scanlation of any of them has been made thus far (hint hint)

-Put plainly, our work is to do research and record all sorts of information pertaining to Monsters, their habitats, the geography, and so forth

(t/n - i really outdid myself with this. He's using something akin to what we in english use as latin names for the taxonomy of species, however, Monster Hunter appears to use its own names. Even further, I find all of this information well detailed in the japanese wikipedia entry for the main article of MH, but no corresponding translation appears in english. Why not?? Seeing that american sales were lower, that may explain why we have not recieved a stateside copy of the official monster hunter encyclopedia. Anyway, this classification system has not been translated to the best of my knowledge and as such I refuse to even attempt it. I don't know scientific names much at all.)
