Well considering that I've been through quite a bit the last few weeks and have reached a couple milestones lately, it's time to give a few updates on the status of my works and my situation regarding some other series. So without further ado:

-First of all, the big news of the moment: as of this moment, I'm taking a bit of a break from Kinnikuman! The last arc I just finished has taken a lot out of me and I sort of want to breathe in and take in a few other series before I start with "the big one" that's next...Kinniku fans should know what that is but let's just say that from what I've heard...the stupidity in "that" arc is just as bad, if not worse, than the arc I just finished. It's still a fun, action packed series but...let's just say that not all old shonen are perfect.
-Just like I've finished a major arc in Kinnikuman, today I've finished a major arc in Sakigake!! Otokojuku...but that will keep on going. I just have such a personal interest in this series (and am having so much fun) that I will be continuing on to the next crazy arc. I'm sort of hoping something is set-up soon so we get actual scanslations...at this point there is a chp. 1 out there but I don't know if that will be all that will be done.
-Desire continues to astond me with the interest I get in it. Two volumes are down on my end of the translation and the first new scanslation in a while (I really hope it has been proofed) is up and running. If you're of age, check it out...but I did warn you.
-Now for the big announcement that shouldn't surprise some but will surprise others: while I was hoping to start Tiger Mask after I finished Kinnikuman, I actually made a deal with someone who contacted me to do another series that I've been nudging with for a while: Osamu Akimoto's ultra-long Jump classic KochiKame! As is, I'm probably going to do vol. 1 of Ryotsu's crazy adventures...regardless of all of it only really pertaining to readers in 1976. If things get moving with it, I may keep going...if not, I'll probably just switch over and start Tiger Mask at that time.
-I still want to get back to Wingman someday...but it's just a matter of "time" now...as in finding time.
-Oh, and another quick note for fans of Kenichi Kotani (or just "Desire"): I've actually been getting my hands on a couple of his earlier shonen works which may or may not get some work on them in the future. The first I've already started putting up is his late-80s Monthly Shonen Jump series Hold Up Kids which I may want to do eventually...the other, which isn't scanned in or really on the web yet (that I know of but I hope to get up soon) is his 1983 short WSJ series Scandoll, which looks interesting in itself...and may be the beginning of the path that lead him to Desire. (considering his previous series, "Tennis Boy", has no indication whatsoever of his girl fetish)

That's probably it for the time being...I really wish I had more to say and I sort of hope I get some feedback, but hopefully it will all work out.
