Mariposa: Yes, that is my guardian deity…it’s a thing that I got from a certain rich mansion when I was still a thief long ago. The reason I stole it was that it suited me when I saw it from a glance as some heirloom of the household.
Robin: So…so then, were you the one who stole the Anoalo Staff from my hand when I was younger? But this is such an ironic connection…
Mariposa: Since I’ve stolen this staff, I’ve acquired a mysterious power where I can gush out flames from my body.
Robin: The Anoalo Staff, the heirloom of my Robin family, possesses a power of manipulating flames freely. The flames that gush out from Mariposa’s body are also an effect of the power of the Anoalo Staff.

ROBIN MASK VS. KINNIKUMAN MARIPOSA

TN: Wait...I must have been merely seeing things. It has to be an illusion, there's no way it could have happened! But...it did: the Anoalo Staff did fall down, shrink to "Robin Mask's mask" size, then fused to become his new mask horn. So essentially it wasn't a scepter or a walking flamethrower, merely...a super-convenient mask component. And...why? Why in the world would the Robin Family need to have such a weapon, let alone what is essentially a mask part hidden in a scepter that has to be fused at the most convenient timing?...then again I won't really stress about it because weird things have and will keep happening in this series so I can't really go over every little thing. I guess I'll just leave it at this: maybe it is similar to Warsman's shrinking of the cast to give him surgery...only super-plot convenient.

Well with that out of the way, I guess it's time to figure out hte other major riddle wrapped into an enigma of the chapter now we finally have the chance, that being, of course, Kinnikuman Mariposa. I really don't mind his BG, being a noble thief who robs from the rich (and gives to himself) because of the desperate lifestyle that he was forced into...and that he merely wanted to be King so that he would finally get the respect and praise he had longed for. But unfortunately, that's probably where I draw the line, considering we find out so much and so little at the same time regarding the truth regarding Mariposa's life when he was still "George the Thief". For one thing, why is it that George's mom seemed to have the "Kinniku fin" when he was born, but not when he was living in poverty in that shack? Is that even his mom whom George grew up with anyway? Could it be that something happened to his real mom and he ended up in that poor household on Planet Moctezuma? Or is it that his mom wore a mask with a Kinniku fin when she gave birth (which would be extremely impractical unless you already had it like Sayuri) and not when living on Planet Moctezuma?

Heck, let's just take it a step further: who exactly wears the Kinniku fin...and when!? We know from everything we've seen in this series that the members of the Kinniku Clan usually have to have the fin, whether or not they have it directly, I guess to show that as their main symbol and status for being the "pre-eminent race of the universe and all that". Heck, we already sort of know from a couple places that Suguru may not have the fin himself and therefore one of the reasons behind his own mask, as weird as it is. (I sort of imagine it like that old movie "The Point", where Oblio must wear a pointed cap since he wasn't born with a pointed head) It is obvious from what we saw in his first appearance (as well as this and the next chapter) that George has a "Kinniku fin", whether it be cosmetic...or a really neat hairstyle. Further, we saw a couple chapters back that Planet Moctezuma isn't necessarily a "Kinniku-only planet": sure there are people from that race living there, but they're not the only ones unlike many of the planets in and around Planet Kinniku itself. So then...from what we know and this whole complicated scenario regarding Kinniku fins and Moctezuma and all that other stuff, why is it that we see George with a Kinniku fin...yet his "mom" and brother without them? Is that woman on Planet Moctezuma even his natural mom or was George adopted as I mentioned before? If it is his mom, why did we see her with a Kinniku mask on the hospital planet? Is there some sort of law that the home planet must be in proper attire? (then again...we know that not every one around Planet Kinniku has the fin considering Meat's sisters don't, but all the mothers at that hospital had the "Kinniku Fin" and we know George had it or else he wouldn't have been part of that scheme...there's also matters of skin color though but I say that was burned into him from living on "Planet Mexico" which is what Moctezuma is)

Yeesh, I started off trying to figure out Mariposa and ended up on a tangent regarding "Kinniku fins"...yeah, it's the little things.
