Robin: Mammothman was simultaneously struck with his competition opponent on purpose so his team leader Phoenix could fight Big Body!!

TN: Yeah, it's obvious that this whole chapter is a set-up for several matters, particularly the end of Kinnikuman Mariposa, the set-up for the next fight with Kinnikuman Zebra, and the set-up of the greatest threat of the arc in Kinnikuman Super Phoenix. But I think the saddest factor upon the last one in setting up Super Phoenix as a threat...was at the same time discrediting and taking down both Big Body and, more importantly, Mariposa a notch. The question this chapter leaves me with is this: if the Five Evil Gods knew they wanted to use the Three Special Techniques as a means to stop Suguru and take part in the tournament...why would the God of Intelligence know the true Muscle Revenger and not the God of Flight? Considering these Gods have been around forever (essentially since they've always been part of the ceremony to become king I assume), they would have known about the ancestors creating the special moves and figured them out by heart. And in knowing them (and knowing that no one really legitimately can do more than one), they would teach their Prince Candidate this technique properly so they could use them in their fight. So then, if the God of Flight knew Muscle Revenger just like the God of Intelligence, why would he screw it around for Mariposa to do that reversing, escapable technique as opposed to what Super Phoenix is doing? Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes but considering each God is supposed to be on each other's side and just crush Suguru, they wouldn't have let something so obvious and crucial to the plan as these deviate as they did between "Mariposa Revenger" and "Super Phoenix Revenger". (and Big Body would have at least tried one of the three himself...though if you've ever played Muscle Fight, he knows them...sort of, in a bizarre hilarious way you have to see to believe)

As for the rest of the chapter...the less said the better. The Robin using the Anoalo Staff discussion wore out last time...but it is a bit sad but appropriate to see George/Mariposa like that in the end: I guess the point was that sure he had a tragic life but that doesn't excuse him being a thief...Robin Hood and Jean Val Jean he's not. Oh...and while I can't stand Super Phoenix's arrogance, the part where he gives the thumbs up to Mammothman for knocking himself out was funny...at least the big guy knows how to take a fall.
