TN: I already know what someone is going to see with this chapter: the way J defeated Tou Fuuketsu is similar to how Akashi defeated the tennis player at the start of the Kokurenju fight. But this time I say just let it slide. First of all, Akashi's victory earlier in this set of fights was all for comedy's sake and the easy way out: Akashi wanted to defeat him without Zanganken, the tennis assassin wanted him to use his sword...and essentially made his own funeral. But in this case, the Flying Crash Megaton Punch to the ground was the only way out for J to defeat Tou Fuuketsu's perfect serpent defense...and unlike Akashi's win, which was "funny", J's victory in this similar manner can similarly be taken with one word: "epic". (but then again...it's J...if he doesn't do it epic, it doesn't get done) Aside from J, I believed Tou Fuuketsu was just the perfect antagonist for someone like him, perfectly using the snakes to a point that J needed something desperate to eliminate him and the serpents all at once or else they may actually bite him! But with that done (and people groaning with "that movie line" being used in my script), it's on to the quarterfinals...but we'll see what they're like next time! (and trust me...here's where things start really, really getting long for the Otokojuku students)
