Senkuu: Of course………!!
Toramaru: Th…these are ants. A…large group of ants are rapidly coming out from the cut-off hand---!!
Raiden: Muu!! Those are Kacchuu Guntai Ants………!

Commentary:
Kachuu Guntai Ant…technical name: Egyptian Killer Ant, length: 20 millimeters; have a characteristic of brutality and collectivenss to the point of being called by their alias, “the piranhas of the desert”. It is said that if a hundred of these ants gather together, they can turn a camel to bone within 3 minutes. Their intelligence is also high: since they can follow the orders of humans if raised, these ants were packed into help-made gloves in ancient Egypt and assisted them with labor. Incidentally, the expression of “I want to borrow the hand of an ant” when you’re busy and want someone else’s hand in present-day Egypt had its origin come forth from this.

TN: Yeah...Toramaru probably has a right to be sick after this chapter. But to me the sickness is about something else altogether: having your head and both your hands chopped off and running around as a headless, armless torso is pretty much hilarious...but for Djoser to truly have a "head crotch"...now that's just wrong. It makes one wonder how exactly he...never mind. Somehow I do also find it a tad weird that such carnivorous ants can eat up a camel yet be trained by Egyptians to be servants...but it's Otokojuku so logic isn't something to worry about. (besides, at least these ants weren't those stupid "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" ants...) But at least we probably don't have to worry about immortality...though we still have to worry about Anubis...and whatever else Pharaoh Sphinx throws out!
