Togashi: It’s…a strange solar eclipse~~~!!
(TN: This is actually a bit of a pun that only works in Japanese: the term for “total solar eclipse” in Japanese is “kaiki nisshoku”; when Togashi responds to Raiden about it, he also says “kaiki nisshoku” but his “kaiki” is not the same kanji combination as the one Raiden speaks: Raiden’s “kaiki” is “totality” as in a “total eclipse” while Togashi’s is the “kaiki” for “strange”)
Date: Further, the way that the sun is being blocked is a Chouin Eclipse”, said to have not occurred once in a hundred years………!! It’s called this for this pitch-darkness continuing for at least thirty minutes.
(TN: Continuing on eclipse talk, a “Chouin Eclipse”…doesn’t exist; it’s another Otokojuku term: “Chouin Nisshoku”, which translates into “Long-Shadow Solar Eclipse”)

TN: It's been a while since we've actually seen Momo having to sweat and think by the end of a chapter. Considering that he's usually the one who takes control of a match rather quickly and crushes most opponents, having someone like Pharaoh that has something more elusive and bizarre that actually forces the Otokojuku leader to try and figure it out or face certain death is something we don't see that often from him. Heck, how the heck can you stop glowing pharaohs that are multiplying with each sword swipe!? That...we'll figure out next time!

BTW: I really wanted to do more of the fight today, but sort of had some problems getting more of the manga to do so this will be it for today...but next time, we will get further into Momo's fight with the Pharaoh Sphinx leader!
