TN: And just when you think Bibimba can't get any more selfish...we reach chp. 2 of the "selfish Bibimba trilogy". Look, I have nothing against her, but she was acting like quite a jerk trying to take matters into her own hands by making herself a pity case in order to stop Suguru and Phoenix's own nonsense. Look, we get your good intention, Bibimba, but how can anyone take what you're doing seriously if you just decide to throw yourself to suicide in order to make those two numbnuts fight clean!? (then again with all that Phoenix has done since day one of this tournament, they really should have cracked down on him and his stupid dirty ways before this or else Bibimba wouldn't have suddenly turned even whinier than before) And just when it can't get any worse...well, she lives in the stupidest method yet (ATARU, JUST GO TO YOUR NON-EXISTENCE PLACE ALREADY, YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAVE HER AND COULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY FOR HER TO LIVE) and then we get the whole selfishness regarding Bibimba hurting herself and seeming to just have blood and a swollen face...which really aren't the grounds for "ugliness". Look, give it a few days and some plastic surgery and Bibimba will be as good as new...it's not like she became THAT horrifying thanks to her face smashing against the pavement, let alone Phoenix being as stupid as usual making matters worse for such a vain girl who lost a lot of her cuteness when her hair poofed up.

And as if you think Bibimba is the only jerk in this chapter...well, I think most of the main cast at this point decided to all become jerks all of a sudden with the events of this chapter. You have Bibimba's vanity and her selfish means to stop the tournament and make everyone fight clean, you have Suguru acting way too jerkish about his fight and what happened to Bibimba (and you have that whole "good king" speech...the stupid thing is Suguru never even mentioned prior to this what exactly it meant to be Great King, let alone he really should have known hanging around Mayumi all these years), you have Phoenix acting vain himself in his "a wife must be beautiful to be queen" (there have been ugly but powerful queens so you can't really say that unless you just wanted her as a trophy wife), you even have Ataru going on and on about greed and "want" as regards to being Great King! (once again: since when was that why Suguru wanted to be King!? Point out any moment he was selfish about it in this entire arc because I haven't seen it even once and it isn't like he had a character arc about it) Probably the only character who wasn't a jerk was Omegaman...but he just felt more like an afterthought at this point: after being such a prominent and annoying enemy for most of the arc, Suguru just uses a submission and a Muscle Spark and that's that...weird considering the big deal he was until Bibimba went and pulled what she did. (though I don't know: was it intended that way or was it just they wanted to get rid of him and get to building the final battle with Phoenix) Of course, the jerkiness has one more chapter to go before it just returns to wrestling...and probably more jerkiness.
