These fan translations are just that-- fan translations. They are not meant to compete with the commercial releases of the series, even if they are more professionally done. These translations are specifically intended to give English-speaking audiences who have purchased the original Japanese comic(s) a sense of what the characters are saying. If you do not know where you can purchase Jump Comics, just check out Sasuga Japanese Bookstore online, or perhaps your local Japanese store (i.e. Kinokuniya, etc). I am attempting to create what might be the first translations maintaining the original G/PG-rated profanity-free dialogue of Japanese Weekly Jump series. I don't want people to cringe whenever they turn a corner and see every profanity in the book in these kids' and young youth comics, like I have. This has caused the majority of Americans to assume that anime/manga fans are scum-of-the-earth, and I don't like that. I'll try my best to stop that nonsensical stereotype. My translations will make you laugh - and keep with the intentions of the author.
