Just talking about the cover of the magazine. It's on the bottom right though, I was wrong.
Just a bad translation, should probably be: "The blood still flows through her dead veins."
Er, nope. He's pointing at the Companion in the background and saying that that particular Companion is leading a man's soul to his gate. Can't have the 'a' in there.
He's trying to get across the point that in this interstice, this area, (here), she is merely a soul.
How about I'd, (as in I had). It feels appropriate in this context since she's talking about a different self, her in the past.
So: "I'd finally gathered enough courage to ask him."
And, done.
Then how about: "that that Companion is leading that man's soul."
Here, you only exist as a soul.
Er, you have misread that first "See" in the line before.
He's saying "See," as in "Look". Not command form, so "look" wouldn't be appropriate. More like when someone says, "You see?" "See" by itself in this case could be taken as a single sentence, and to be perfectly clear it would be like this.
"See? That Companion is leading that man's soul."
I suppose I should have put the question mark in to be absolutely clear.
