Ill do that, thanks Gr1mmy.
I checked out the summary and it looks real interesting. they said fans of vagabond and Blade of Immortal will enjoy this Dangu. It just so happens that Vagabond and Blade Of Immortal are 2 of my favorite series!

I've read dangu and i think it's pretty good, my only problem is that the scanlations for this manga has stopped. the manhwa already finished but the scans are only up to volume 5. anyone know where to find the rest of the scans? or at least the raws and the translations?

To put it lightly its " Totally Awesome ".I have to be honest, the guy(Park Joon Gi) is Extremely talented(wunderkind so to say).If you want my advice,be sure to check it out,it's right up there with Blade of The Immortal, Vagabond,...

here's a Preview of the "art quality":

I love this manhwa. My only regret is that there hasn't been a release in a long time. Or at least I'm not sure where to get it. If someone is searching for something new to read.. be warned. It's incomplete and you're going to have a long waiting time ahead of you. ^_^
If waiting for releases is not a problem, then like Arisuper said, it's in the same league as Vagabond or Blade of the Immortal. However Vagabond does have slightly better art, imo. But it's hardly noticeable. The characters are all great and the story is pretty sound. Overall it's a great Manhwa.

It really seems that there's nothing new on this stuff,I tried pretty much every download page, and nothing. If someone has some new info ,it would be helpful!
It's really a pity , great stuff!

Actually,I found the complete set(1-9),but in Korean(I can't even speak Korean, let alone read it);here's the link if anyone is interested:http://kiligaris.livejournal.com/2508.html#cutid1

Thank you for this recommendation! Boys, the drawing's so cool I'll see to the story a bit. The website has 4 English-scanned volumes, so I'll be done.

@AriSuper: you really DO LIKE realistic art, don't you?!

June 08, 2008, 09:18 AM
I adore it(realistic stuff),as for this manhwa, the way this guy does human anatomy is one of the best I've ever seen(I'd say it goes hand in hand with Raymond(Flash Gordon) and Foster(Prince Valiant).I know many won't agree but the art is "au paire"(some times better) than BOTI and Vagabond.

You can all debate me ,but as a person that has been surrounded by art his whole life(my dad is an artist, and I don't mean to brag but I'm also "talented":s)this is my objective opinion(personaly I like Vagabond and BOTI better)

^ I kinda disbelieve that it is better than Vagabond. Can you please post some pages to show that "sometime" part which you think it is better? Don't mean to offend you, but I'm fond of Inoue's art and think he's already perfect with the anatomy so I have to let you prove your opinion a bit.

June 12, 2008, 03:54 AM
Not a problem.I'll do that, but you'll have to give me a day or two so I can find the "appropriate " sample.and don't worry ,I'm not offended so easily,This is a discussion after all,our goal is to find the"truth of the matter"(god dam this sounds lame). So ,what I actually mean is fire away,I like a good "debate":;)
Alright, here I am.Sorry if you waited a long time but I was pretty busy. Now,before I start, I want to make something clear: I PERSONALLY LIKE VAGABOND TO THAT EXTENT THAT I WOULD CALL IT GENIUS .Ok,now that we got that out of the way I have to say one more thing Art is Art(and by that I mean it can't be perceived through the level of technique - look at Picasso),and right now I'm talking about technique, not Art or anyones personal favorites.

now,my point was aimed towards the fact that Inoue(Vagabond) sometimes makes the characters disproportional. So in that light in certain occasions Dangu is better(vice versa for Dangu). :D

can't upload a pic:
here's the linkl :http://img3.imagebanana.com/view/j21kaqm/Vagabondv21015.jpg

in this picture the relations between the head, hand, torso and legs are off, sorry but they are.

I PMed you! (Fearing my discussion was going to be off-topic. -_-;)

I don't know if anyone else was able to catch it, but volume 6 chapter 1 or chapter 40 was posted here in mangahelpers yesterday and I was able to download it. After about an hour though, the thread became invalid. Anyone else catch it?
