View Full Version : Info ~JUMP FESTA 2011~

December 18, 2010, 08:30 PM
It's time for some JUMP FESTA again.
Here is what i found on NF:

(Kubo Tite)

And thus it has begun. Jump Festa, not as big as Tokyo Game Show, definitely not as big as Comic-Con. But it hosts Shueisha stuff and Square Enix, Capcom, ect. Usually there's an interview that Kubo or some voice actors make, so please look forward to that.

BTW, damn. I love kubo's art.. and those giant spreads he made are cool. I believe it shows (from left to right)Ginjou, Aizen, Gin, Kenpachi, Hitsugaya, Byakuya, Renji, Rukia, and Ichigo. [Aizen kinda look like Grimmjow there, but I'm pretty sure it's Aizen.] Pretty cool, huh?

Please post any Jump Festa related news here. It lasts from today to the 20th I think. Expect interviews, more photos, and more news soon!

Some nice Ichigo cosplay.

The entrance badge, containing Ichigo holding his shinigami badge. Sweet.

Ichigo cosplayer from the back! Wow, that zangetsu is pretty tiny compared to the one from that american cosplayer at comic-con in 2008 when Kubo went. xD But the hair looks swell if I do say so myself.

this is ichigo and rukia's side of the posters

this is ginjou's and aizen's side of the posters

poster close ups of gin and kenpachi. gar. damn.

rukia looks cool
ichigo is fucking hot gar omg

damn rukia looking sexy here xD

voice actor skits, men like big boobs, rukia's VA likes old men (thank bleachness)
Oririn(Rukia's VA), Morita(Ichigo's), Nakai(Kokuuto), and Shuuren(Shuuren) where there. Morita and Oririn performed stuff:
+When ichigo and rukia met chapter 1
+when rukia was taken away by renji and byakuya first time.
+when Ichigo goes to the bridge and is about to rescue her
+"aren't we nakama?"
+and chapter 423 their farewell. ';~;

the report said both of their acting is so touching and many fans cried.

People that get on stage were Morita, Fumiko, Kubo-sensei, Nakai (kokutoo) and Furuya (shuuren), the MC asked a few fun questions like who is their favorite characters and the gave them characters selection to pick with each stereotype they had. For girls character they gave them Rukia "the fixed heroine", Orihime "the naturally loved", Rangiku "the big breasted vice-captain class", Lisa "the megane (glasses) type" and Hiyori (the reporter forget her title)

For favorite female characters all the guys choose Orihime and Rangiku because they love big boobs (Furuya even apologized to Fumiko "sorry Rukia-chan but I'm a boob man") and Nakai also pick Lisa because for him how Lisa loves to read porn book makes him excited and Morita also pick Hiyori as a "good friend" type character

and LOL Oririn when being asked which male character she likes with the selection of hotties such as Ichigo "the main lead", Kokutoo, Shuuren, Byakuya, Mayuri, (theres other choices but the reporter forgot).... she choose YAMAJII because she likes older character *GJ oririn.. you slap them all good XDDDD*

all in all the Ichiruki fans who went there are ecstatic with this year JF, they put ichigo and Rukia picture side by side everywhere and looking by the storm of tweets looks like Oririn is very charming today, they also glad over the musical announcement, they also squees on Rukia's title as "fixed heroine" and the stage performance is just MOEE

Sensei also picked Rangiku and Orihime as his favorite female characters but unless people jump to pairing conclusions, his favorite male characters are Mayuri and Aizen sooooo.... LOL.

Soul Ignition is a new BLEACH video game that will be on the PS3. It is said to release in 2011.

10 more years of Bleach....

Ten years... interesting. Maybe those past interviews saying theres only one more arc after this new one are not true. Unless its really going to be a truly enormous arc.

What ever the case I'm fine with it! Bleach is my absolute favorite so ten years is okay with me!

i just hope kubo has a good set of plans left since 10 years is a long time.

Nice one, Kubo. :)

I hate it when a manga is about to end, that's why I think the news just made my day.

December 19, 2010, 01:17 PM
nah a manga should end when its doing decent, i tell you if its 10 yrs then idk of any thing that Kubo can come up to make the story coherent,

December 19, 2010, 02:41 PM
Thats great news. He'll need those 10 years if he's going to show the royal realm, zero squad, and everyones bankais.

Cant end the series with still so much to be shown.

10 years ..geez kubo dont think you can drag the story that long..unless you keep pace at now which i would be happy with as we getting plot. but if he goes back to endless fights of FKT arc then he could ruin bleach easy

does it mention if the 10 years are say 5 years end manga..5 years to end anime or is it just manga end in 10 years?

December 20, 2010, 12:14 AM
he might have joked about it ?? i mean may be he got fed up at ppl asking him when will it end, and burled out 10- yrs..
i ma not those folks who think Kubo is god, so if he is doing bad then i ll say he is; and i can guarantee if its 10 yrs more then will will definitely do bad.

Considering the pace of Bleach since HM arc, I think 10 years isn't too long.. :p

Still, not too much info as of yet. Can't wait for some more <if there will be any>

I doubt he has so many ideas that he needs another 10 years. Feels like he ran out of ideas a long time ago.

The Soul Society arc and the Hueco Mundo arc were practically from the same mold. A girl gets kidnapped (Rukia/Orihime) and Ichigo and his friends have to travel to a different world and fight 13 strong opponents. (The Gotei 13/Espada + Aizen, Gin, Tousen)
And in between these arcs, Ichigo meets a suspicious sinister looking character who follows him around (Hirako/Ramen guy), and who's objective is to help Ichigo with his hollow power/shinigami power.

I hope the formula for the next one isn't to save Ichigo's sister instead of Ruukia/Orihime, and a new group of 13 strong opponents appear.

so really kubo is going for a very nice looking number of 800 to 900 chapters over all for bleach. honestly thats what i expect from one piece and naruto to. for naruto, im sure it has a ton more to go with its current arc and has one more big arc after that while one piece is just entering a new saga.

the last arc of bleach will probably be twice as long as the arrancar arc just like the arrancar arc was twice as long as the SS arc.

10 more years of Bleach....

Thanks for the update.

Kubo had already stated that there was no ending for Bleach (http://uk.comics.ign.com/articles/895/895983p1.html) in the near future but for some weird reason, people kept saying Bleach would end after Aizen's defeat. I guess they were so attached to Aizen that the possibility of new characters, villains and concepts escaped them.

Also, Kubo has never said that the arc, which follows the mini arc, would be the last arc of Bleach. We know that he'll introduce RGs at some point and we'll almost certainly see the bankai of all characters, so yeah, Bleach won't be ending anytime soon. Bleach is the youngest of top 3 manga, there was no reason to think it would end prematurely.

i personally think, Bleach was stalled the past 5 years because WSJ needs it to be. i mean, One Piece and Naruto, the two top sellers of WSJ will not last another 10 years and in case the company doesn't get another mega-hit manga like theses two, they'll need Bleach to stay in syndication.

i am looking at the manga from a business perspective because that's what it is and that's where a lot of decisions are based off regarding the story line. i think Kubo has good ideas and is an okay writer, but he's being hog tied right now because of the business and WSJ will need Bleach in the future. i believe this is why, in the other forum, Kubo mentioned at Jump Festa that Bleach will last another 10 years. besides, Kubo already stated in the past that Bleach was only intended to last about 7 years, so i know all this is purely business.

and the manga itself is alright, the beginning was really good until the whole Aizen thing popped up and led to nothing but the current plot line now. there's way too much secrecy between the story and the readers and it's now used as a gimmick of sorts to keep people interested in reading the manga. If there was any real confidence in this manga at this point, Kubo would reveal more and progress the whole manga into a better plot. especially if it's going to last 10 years.

It's great to have ten more years of Bleach.:) I really got attached to it)) In fact Kubo's pacing is rather slow and he also has a big room to develop his manga, so I really think that ten years is quite posible.:)

I may agree with you about Naruto ending in near future, but not One Piece. It surely has a great potential and it is just a half of the story, so it will last about the same perioud it has for now, so I think it will last about ten years.;)
