Maeda Hachibei is a pervert who lusts only certain parts of a girl...One day, he finds himself living in a dormitory with five girls, each of which possesses one of the ideal physical features he desires: gorgeous blue eyes, bullet-train breasts, a deep dulcet voice, straight "anime-esque" legs, or a waistline shaped like fine Japanese pottery. How can he manage to keep his wits when surrounded by these women?

Hey guys,

i just came across a funny manga...i guess from the creator "Midori No Hibe" since the characters are alike.
Anyways, Its called "Love Collage" and i found it at www.stoptazmo.com (http://www.stoptazmo.com).

I was wondering, is there any other website that has this manga?

Those who have not read, do read it! It worth your time.

Hi Zluos,

If you are looking for something of same genre with Ai Kora, you can look at this thread shonen-romance (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8099).

If not, maybe try Manga Recommendation Thread (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=372), which has a variety of mangas, and hopefully you'll find something you'll like. :)

Just wondering, what do you like about Ai Kora? I have read the first few chapters of this, and I'm kinda thought that it'll be the same old situations that will appear towards the end?! :p

Same mangaka of Midori no Hibi... you should read that.

Fetish frenzy! XD.

Anyways, he's quite a bit like Sawamura in Midori.

Now that AiKora is over, I can probably say what I feel about it without too much of a problem. And to tell the truth, I feel really mixed about it. I read and liked Midori no Hibi, even though some of it did get a tad over the top. Somehow I was sort of expecting something a bit more this time around with MnH being good...though the concept in itself (male lusting after "parts" of the female anatomy) did look like a good bounce-off point, the whole "Male living in a female dorm" reminded me too much of Love Hina, which I didn't like. I did like that there was quite a bit of character development occuring with Sawamura and the girls he encountered, allowing them to shine while putting them in awkward situations that allowed for his lusted parts to be revealed. Then again, I didn't like the fact that they literally had to turn him into some sort of "superman" everytime his parts were in danger...while comedic in themselves, it sort of felt like Inoue was trying too hard to create a supernatural unbelievability similar to "a girl being a punk kid's left hand".

Probably the one thing that just never seemed to work and was the most "obvious" position of the series itself was the love triangle that developed between Sawamura, Sakurako and Yukari. The whole position of Sawamura and Sakurako was a big duh from the first chapter: she would hate him at first but would eventually grow to love him, as is the case with many "love comedies". On the other hand, when Yukari slowly started to have feelings, I sort of expected something a bit more, that somehow Sawamura would stop looking as her as a pair of boobs and as something more interesting...but of course, the Sakurako connection just made it direct for the obvious and even with all the problems going on. Yukari was probably my favorite of the characters...well obviously from her looks but also since she probably went through the most and was the only one to actually come to grips with things by the end compared to Sakurako.

As for the ending...it just felt like another one of those "life goes on" things: Sawamura is still parts-obsessed, he still has a harem that gets bigger by the moment, and even though he claims he loves Sakurako...still just has her as "one of the girls". I guess somehow the series was nice but in a way felt like potential that was wasted. It was cute but just "there" and I'm sad to see it go.

:wtf ended!? :cussing i can't believe it! This manga cracks me up most of the time... :( ...i guess i'll have to find something to fill the gap.

It's a great manga. Even if the setting is similar, you can't compare that manga to Love Hina. Don't get me wrong, they're both great manga, but they're way too much different to compare them together. Keitaro was a gutless coward with no exact goal in life, but Hachibei knows what he wants and have the guts to get it.

It's so good, it makes me wish I could read Japanese. Well with the chapters that have been translated, I can guess what's the ending gonna be. The raw seems of good quality, if only I could read the words...

Guess it'll be back to school for me! I've always wanted to learn that language, but the quick releases of Naruto and Bleach weren't giving me the motivation to learn how to read Japanese.

P.S. I just realized that it's my first post, even if it's been years I joined these boards. Maybe I've should have sticked to the shadows...

I also liked MnH better but Ai Kora wasn't bad..

btw is what is the number of the last chapter? was it 120?

I finished reading it on RAW manga and it was very good!! 5/5
i recommend you read it :)

So true.
It's definitely one of my favourites!

:wtf:scry, why are so man of these mangas ending

Good question. I miss Ai Kora soooo much. :crying

I finished reading it on RAW manga and it was very good!! 5/5
i recommend you read it :)

I just finished reading it. XD
I loved every single chapter!

There are times when one needs to take a break from reading the more serious manga's and look for something new in a particular genre..

- a simple storyline with fun characters
- hilarious
- and most importantly...an enjoyable read in the end.

Ai Kora is one of them! :nod
It's definitely a must-read in my books. ;)

i wonder author work another new manga series ? if anyone know about it please tell me about it

May 31, 2010, 05:11 AM
Inoue Kazurou (http://www.mangaupdates.com/authors.html?id=717), the only thing I've read from him would be Ane Comi but scans have stopped from most of his series. Midori no Hibi is 8 volumes long and it's been completely scaned along with Aoi Destruction!. The others you will only get a few chapters.
