After the short break following the end of the Nomination period, it's finally time to VOTE! The first Voting Round has begun and runs until Sunday, October 22rd. It's not too late to participate in The Fairy Tail Awards! Now that the Semifinals have ended, we will be moving on to the last stage of the event. In this round, the winners of the previous matches will face each other so make sure you vote for the best one in each category!
The Finals will end on August 13th, 2017.

The final event of the Fairy Tail section, The Fairy Tail Awards, has officially begun! There are 21 categories including the Best Male and Female Characters, the Best Fight, and the Worst She's Erza Moment. In addition, a few anime options have been included.
The awards kick off with the Nomination Stage which ends on July 29th, 2017.

This Saturday, April 9, at 8:30 PM Washington DC will see a fantastic fireworks display along the Wharf in Southwest DC. And as if fireworks weren't vast enough to behold, there is a whole festival leading up to it, starting at 1 PM. The whole Southwest Waterfront Firework Festival is free and hosts a multitude of activities and shows. Among them are music, family friendly water activities, cultural experiences, live entertainment and delicious foods at four locations.
At the Cherry Blossom Plaza you will find the Harris Teeter Experience, Cherry Blossom Photos, Caligraphy, DC Dragon Boats and Excursions, as well as a Beer and Cider Garden.

The final weekend of the National Cherry Blossom Festival is approaching, and with it come the last batch of event suggestions for our Japanophile readers. This Saturday, April 16, there will be three venues to check out. Do not fret though, you can visit all of them.
From 10 AM to noon, the NCBF Parade will walk on Constitution Avenue – From 7th to 17th streets, NW. Places at the Grandstand Seating start at $20. Standing along the Parade route from Constitution Avenue between 9th and 15th streets, NW is free. You will be able to see many High School Marching Bands, talent show participants (The Voice, America's Got Talent, American Idol), cast members from the musical Jersey Boys, Miss America 2016, Washington Redskins Cheerleaders and more...
