I know as a black women, it's usually a mix light skin chick representing..when most black women are brown skin..

Which character though? I doubt most casting directors are out there at auditions measuring skin pigmentation, nor should they be in most cases.

I don't think they have to, is my point. She doesn't look Irish or something lol. Will Smith as Genie sort of sounds funny, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't do CG to make him blue.

He confirmed he's blue in the movie itself, special effects haven't been finished yet so they're not showing it.

Naomi Scott is from British and (Gujarati) Indian descent anyway, so there's nothing wrong with the casting in the end either. The guy playing Aladdin is Egyptian iirc, so it all seems to fit.

Ah '_' we basically call any muslim as arab here, Ik it's terrible ç.ç so yeah, was considering all groups, from different countries, including the ones in the North of Africa - which, like the rest, are also not fully made of brown people.

I don‘t remember there was ever any big confirmation. They were friends so naturally they got shipped(a law around here), and hosted mafia games together and all. Not sure what ever happened to Kat, but afaik they‘re not together, prolly never were.

You probably haven't watched it - the acting and cinematography are phenomenal

The director truly displayed a talent for getting uncomfortably close - it's quite unnerving.
The camera angles somehow make you feel like you are almost there, right in the action...

David Lynch really could have learned a thing or two from that director
