Heart is muscle, what is weird about it

Eating hearts and gizzards is not unusual here..I never ate heart o.o I mean, I know eating anything is a thing, ever since someone showed me a video of people eating horse dicks and those are supposedly a delicacy...
But heart tasting „heavenly“ First time I heard that.

You can though, beef heart is actually the most common of all, you can get those in most supermarkets. Decent butchers have a small selection too.I can’t even buy heart in stores afaik. Very unusual here.

Same.Oh thats nice, I am also a southern-er, continent wise.
Oh cool - forgot to answer one of your questions. I work for a private ambulance company which is contracted to various facilities. We deal with emergencies and non emergencies. Though the last couple of years the emergencies have been less and less due to us loosing some contracts. However we do still run into a few on the road here and there. Having said that - the job feels more like this.
Same

I would expect any meat eater to eat a chicken heart at some point or other. I ate one too. Wasn't anything particularly amazing though. Livers on the other hand are very far from amazing. They could be nice when paired with something that compliments it well, perhaps.
