What are the possibilities of chainsawman and jigokuraku being a part of this event

since WIT is also involved a lot of people are assuming Spy x Family. Personally I think it's the Million Tag thing since the winner got their manga as a Netflix anime

If it's going to be at this Netflix thing I don't think so. I imagine it isn't going to actually be ready for quite a while so would be weird to hype it up 2 months in a row with live events unless it is about to release

I remember a bit ago some Shueisha higher-up mentioned wanted a third big hit on Jump+ to go alongside Spy x Family and Kaiju #8, since 3 is the ideal number for signature series or something. I guess they've found that with Dandadan.

At least until Chainsawman part 2 starts, though maybe they'd still brand that as WSJ?

If it keeps following the volume numbers instead of being separated, it will probably still be under "Jump Comics" label, but the series itself will be promoted/advertising as a Jump Plus series, like in the case of World Trigger.

Nice to see Shinshoku no Ryorijin ranking in the 50th range, for a Plus series i think is fine, Excuse me Dentist still going on doing worse despite and with more advertising. Weird that isn't translated yet, looks super cool

hiatus for Koisuru One Piece

I find it very odd that the creator's starting a new series in WSJ while they still have one ongoing on Jump+, even if it's a spin-off. Are they anticipating getting cancelled quickly and returning to that in half a year's time?

Although I suppose with One Piece's scope and current pacing, even if their new series is a hit it'll finish before One Piece is even close to its end so the spin-off returning will still be relevant.

According to the author he wanted to end the series but the editorial convinced him to just put on hiatus, so basically, if Mamore flops, he still has Koisuru One Piece.

That makes more sense.

It's still a little odd that he'd start a new series in the middle of doing something else but I guess as a gag spin-off manga it's probably somewhat limited in potential and also designed to be endless, so he probably has his own personal story ideas he wants to try too instead of doing a parody spin-off forever.

It's a win-win situation when you think about like that I suppose, he gets to try his hand at his own manga and if it works, great, if it doesn't, he's still got something to keep creating so he's not returning to just being an assistant (or whatever it is authors of axed manga do in-between).
