• You can pick an ending of any anime you like western animation are not allowed (for expl Avatar), however endings in other languages are allowed.
• To avoid recency bias, opening of last 2 years are not allowed. You can choose any anime ending that was released up to January 2022.
• It is up to you how you define what is a best ending/outro to you. Choose your top 10 anime outros based on your personal criteria — whether it's nostalgia, visuals, music, or a mix of everything. Your submission can even include endings from animes that you've never watched. And whether you like, love or hate the anime or not is irrelevant for your list.
• Honorable mentions are allowed.
• As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your lists as much as you want.
• Please, rank your top following the usual format :

1 - 10 pts

This is a remake of one of the 1st rounds that was done 6/7 years ago. it will be 2 rounds (openings and endings, if you wish I might add a 3rd round for animes Ost)

Looking at her roles I realize Hirano's range is insane. Didn't even think about her for some reason.

There was a period where Matsuoka was literally everywhere... He is still in a lot of shows today but not as often as a lead. Still very good.

Bell Cranel and Kirito having the same VA is a piece of VA lore I find quite lovely Especially since both of them are swordsmen in series that deal with dungeons.
NAKAMURA YUICHI!!!! Brilliant voice actor, he voiced both Tsukasa (Dr Stone) and Gojou (JJK) last year who were both the strongest characters in their seasonal anime

 

[Gladiolus]

Matsuoka's case is really curious. He came to fame for voicing male leads in harem and fantasy anime, yet he managed to reinvent himself into voicing hot blooded shonen heroes and crazy villains, always doing a great job. I was throughly impressed by his As Nodt role in Bleach TYBW, cause he sounds so different compared to his usual roles (even thoses of antagonists) I barely recognized him.

Overall a pretty good seiyuu.

Nakamura has such a nice, manly voice. Is interesting how he has always managed to land on quite fan favorite roles (Gojo, Hawks, Bucciarati, Buddha...) for the last 5 years or so.

 

[Jammin]

Yoshisugu Matsuoka had to be in my top 5. He's done so many different roles and done them remarkably well. He was every protagonist for a while. Now he's every supporting character and villain... and still sometimes the protagonist. And on top of it all he's almost always good.

 

[Valhalla]

I love Aya Hirano's works. She is a really great VA. Would definitely be in my HM if i had them.

Yuuichi Nakamura's Tatsuya deserves a mention as well .

I remember Konata being one of my first anime characters and listening to Aya Hirano in other more mature roles shocked me.
She can go from goofy and childish like Konata and Misa, to more energetic and mature like LLucy and Haruhi. She even did great as an antagoinist/villian with Kurumi in Kimi no Todoke.

I also agree with Jamms about Yoshitsugu, he was in my list for most time until I decided to replace him for another, but the rank and variety of his voice is completely insane. I could barely recognize him in all of his works, and he sure showed strenght with Inosuke's role.

That's a S tier voice actor right here. Bell's firah bolto, Soma's goofiness, Petelgeuse's and Inozuke's craziness, Izumi's calmness, along his many other performances. Jammin is definitely not exaggerating when stating that he has the best range among male voice actors. It's my biggest regret of this top 10 for sure. Matsuoka deserves at least a top 4 spot.

Man I initially had Aya Hirano in my list but took her out because I had read several times she was disinterested in her work as a seiyuu and wasn't nice to her fans.

Later I dug in deeper and apparently it's because she gets death threats every time she voices a new character (which is why she's barely in anything in the last decade) because Japanese dudes hate women that have sex.

...whoops.

Nakata said that Alucard was the one character he most enjoyed voicing and the easiest one to portray. He said that villain characters and ones with distinct personalities were easier than ones with not much personality as they can be shaped and changed up.

I was gonna give big points to Okamoto Nobuhiko when I first thought about this list and in the end I forgot to include him. Shame on me!
This guy is just amazing. His voice just robs the whole scene sometimes. Great example of that:

Now for Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, no matter what character he voices, it just fits. Majima character is a prime example on how a good voice actor can make the difference. The character is a villain, a terrorist, not a top notch bishounen and to top it all off his green messy hair can trigger your traumatic Deku vibe disgust. But then he opens his mouth and...you just can't not love this character. His charisma is such that he easily became a fan favourite. Now let's hear him shall we:

And speaking about charismatic voices Nakamura Yuuichi really is the cherry on top of the cake for a character like Gojo. It's not just the voice but the quirky way he speaks in such a natural manner:

A good voice actor really makes the difference when it comes to how much you like a character.
