It's in the title so it might as well go here.

Anyway, i wondered if anyone here read the series, wanted to read the series, or even hates the series.

Anyway, i wrote a recommendation in the recommendation thread (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php?topic=814.msg67061#msg67061) so you can get any info there.
Also one of the reasons i started this thread was because Araki spoke at a college at Nagoya College in the Aichi prefecture (some translators here mentioned their experiences with the dialect.) I've read it and I love it I've only read parts 3 & 4 though.
I own all the volumes released by Viz so far too

Thanks for the link, Neoshweaty! I used to enjoy the Jojo series quite a bit (with my favorite series probably being part 4 though Stone Ocean was pretty good too). You gotta love a 70+ volume series featuring some of the most ridiculous powers and characters out there. For coolest/cheapest stand power though, I still vote for "Weather Report."

Part 4 was one of my favorites too! That one is vastly underrated by most fans.I love josuke and crazy diamond. The villian screamed queen with his stand and queen (RIP Freddy T_T) is one of my favorite bands.

Stopping time isnt cheap to you? I mean not everyone is as great as Jotaro.

I love Crazy Diamond too! Part 3 and Part 4 were kickass!

I can't seem to get into Part 5 though. Need... HQ... scans...
The stuff that's out there isn't doing me very good on the eyes.

well, there was this huge torrent floating around with raws that were readable of all the series but the torrent is dead. (i forgot you can read japanese, la-di-da) I guess the next best thing is getting on share or winny

I really hope they put Josuke with his Crazy Diamond into the new Jump Ultimate Stars game that's coming out this winter. Only Dio and Jotaro were playable in Jump Super Stars, and Jotaro was totally one of the best characters to play in there. His ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA move is insane! Not to mention he can tag-team attack with Luffy to perform the Gomu Gomu no ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!! that sends a million punches across the entire screen.

i love that combo. I hope they put Josuke in the game but i am not gonna hold my breath. Some Steel Ball run characters are more likely, even if alot of the stands in the manga arent very video game friendly or clear to me now.

One of the most memorable moments to me in Jojo's Bizarre Adventures Part 3... was when the gang went to India and Polnareff goes to use the toilet...
Apparently the toilet sends all of the feces down into a pig's living quarters, and the pig can stick his head into the toilet (from the bottom side) and eat! They're supposed to lick your butt for maximum cleanliness!

I still can't get that scene out of my head..

funny you should mention part 6. It isnt complete but i aim to change that by starting, or starting Edited Mangas for it.

You need to start downloading it now and reading it because jojo is too great

Wow I just started reading the series and I have to say this really kicks ass, unfortunately because of school finals and reborn this week I can't read any further until next week ;.;

EDIT: Are there scans of volume 60-62?
