Okay, that's two lies at once.
... but taste aside, why "underrated"? Because it has become the butt of many a joke nowadays? That still doesn't make it "under-the-radar".
Neither is Yowamushi Pedal afaik, even in the West (but maybe I just have too much fujoshi-contact).
I wonder what criteria this very mixed kind of jury used.

Though, kudos for including Vinland Saga, Planetes, Nozaki-kun and Black Clover in their respective categories.

This was taken from the panel, so I wouldn't expect 100% accuracy when reporting a list. I don't think they meant Bleach was an under the radar title, just underrated.

Yowamushi Pedal may have an audience in the US, but that hasn't translated into sales for the series.

That makes sense, but even "underrated" is a weird adjective to use when it still sells well compared to other series in the west, and then considering it's writing quality. Kinda sounds like someone who has never heard of it before, only recently read the first 2 arcs and then wonders why it has become such a hate-magnet without seeing the full picture.
Which could be pretty accurate... I doubt that they have completely read all of those series, some of which are very long.

I see no point in trying to discredit their categorization of a series that you don't agree with.

Yen Press is shit at advertising some of their series like Dark Horse, so that also doesn't help.

Also, the fact that Bleach doesn't have an extended page count for it's final chapter seems odd. I guess Kubo doesn't need it.

Yeah & it was pretty recent too, Hachi & Yakenohara Jin got axed the same week

iirc Kurokuroku & Himedol got the axe treatment the same week too
