Since my team seems to have some image problems, let's go with Amane to lighten the mood.

Also, keep in mind that the drafting order is reversed for the final pick. In other words, Anera only picks one character this time and then The Thinker starts the final round.

I was actually expecting Philia to pick him, but he was definitely my second best pick at this point after Gin I think.

Speaking of Philia's team, I'm curious to see whether Marui or Akutagawa will end up being more valuable this time. Marui has better Specials, but Jiro can either reliably get to 21 with just his Auto or force the opponent to play around it which isn't bad either.

Contrary to this, however, Think's team doesn't have much cohesion, as if he just picked whoever was on the top of the list of players.

Actually, McGregor aside, his entire team consists of high schoolers, so you could say he went for the most experienced players (and surely Mac McGregor was a mistake, he probably wanted to sign MC MacGregor and got their names mixed up). The question is just if Think might be underestimating the prowess of this generation's youngsters.

So until the round starts, just to get some discussion going, is there any character drafted earlier or later than you would have expected? For myself, Shiraishi was picked a little later than I thought. Several of the new characters added this season were pros though, so that pushes some of the lower HSers and higher MSers back a round or two in the draft.

I guess another question would be are there any character pairings somebody has that stood out? Coach Phil did something interesting with picking Ibu Shinji and other stat reduction characters. Shinji's Silent Killer Auto could add up quickly in doubles, so I wonder how strong he could be.
