Lol and what would be the cause of Civil War? To kill or not to kill Natsu-END?

As for Wendy's relevance in Acno's arc, I think she just acquired the ability this chapter.

Soul Ripping

Acno became strong because he can rip the souls of dragons. And Wendy just learned how to remove "personalities/soul in a body". There's also Milky Way who can summon dragon souls. I'd say Wendy already has tools to be relevant in fighting Acno aside from direct combat obviously.

The cause of the Civil War could be "to kill or not to kill Natsu/END", but another alternative would be "to kill or not to kill Zeref". Since Zeref is Natsu's brother, Natsu may not want to kill Zeref when he learns more about his past.

Initially, Natsu said he doesn't really care about their blood relationship, and that he wants to take down Zeref at all costs. But if Natsu learns that Zeref was actually cursed by Ankhseram while trying to revive him, then Natsu might feel sympathy for his brother and switch sides.

Gray on the other hand, has suffered way too much from Zeref. Every single person he's lost in his life, has had some sort of connection to Zeref, so Gray would have no mercy.

Then the FT members either side with Gray or Natsu from there. Lol, but seeing as the way the current arc is going, the chances of a Civil War are like less than 2%.


Wendy learning Soul Ripping would be badass. That would be a really useful spell if Wendy learns it since she is a dragon slayer like Acnologia and an enchanter. The points you brought up are actually pretty good. It would make sense for Wendy to eventually develop that technique.

Wendy definitly has what it takes to be relivent to the fight but are you saying that Wendy sould get stronger by taking souls or that she should be about to take Acnologia's soul I don't quite get what your thinking with soul riping. I can't see her not playing a sizable role in the fight, and I have always thought that there might be a link between the two for a few reasons the similarity between the original desighn of Wendy's dragon and acnologia the fact that anologia is stated to have used his dragon slayer magic to remove souls and the only magic related to "souls" and not personalities as was stated in the chapter (just of going by the chapter if the official translation uses soul you will retract this section the chapter got rather specific that it was not posesion so it could have been to differentiate between what you are talking about and Wendy using her new favorite spell to detach Irene from her body) is sky dragon slayer magic. She also healed natsu's scarf after it was affectedby Zeref's curse rooted in Ankhseram's power given the way that the dragon king acts it is posible that he too is cursed with contradiction to kill those who do not take the same form as he does if that was the case the last thing Wendy does might be to heal the victumes of Ankhseram after all cursed items and enchanted items have always seemed simular. Plus other than hair styling in DF and hair color out there is also a similarity between this

a bit of a strech but the only true sky dragon slayer attack spells we know is Sky drill and Milky Way everything else is improvised mainly by imitaing Natsu

I actually think Wendy would air on the side of forgivness she forgave the OS for destroying her guild and really the man never wanted to kill anyone while there was still hope for him, actually maybe Erza and posibly even Laxus but that would be a decent incenting force if such a thing was allowed to happed but after this war they already have alot to deal with I mean Natsu hasn't even spilt the beans about the 400 year plan, but who would wendy fight gaeel would be the first name that comes to mind but that would not go well, then again if Erza did side aginst Natsu that could be an interesting one with the ability to disenchant things like armor mabye.

I won't judge Wendy by her combat abilities, because after many years in internet i've became annoyed by all this talks about "who's biceps are bigger". That's why i probably never take part in dispute about "Power rankings".

I will say that she has probably most pure heart. She and Natsu.

There is a pattern to Fairy tail's villians every team Natsu member has been related to a villian in the manga by blood Lucy-Jude heartfilea (hired phantom lord),carla-the queen(the entire race is kind of tied into this so this can count for happy too) in Edolas, Natsu-Zeref(first intorduced in Tenrou,Gray-silver, Erza-Ireen, Wendy-. Fallowing this pattern Wendy should have ties to a substantial vilian next major arc, and there is only one vilian left Acnologia.
This probably seems crazy but Sky dragon magic is the only slayer magic that we have seen to deal with souls (Milky Way). Irene doesn't seem to have used DS magic to ripped Wendy's soul out and Acnologia is stated have used his dragon slayer magic to extract them( what Wendy did with Irene even if she didn't use DS magic to do it?), his dragon form and grandie's original design have a lot in common, and his human for has similar hair to Wendy.

Acnologia was originally on the side of co-existence,but went insane from the side effects of Dragon Slayer magic if Grandeey taught her farther the magic that caused Wendy to be abandoned she would be obligated to take her in, and would be cautious about teaching the kid attack magic. There is also the question of why would Wendy need to be able to detach enchantments, Dues Zero played too central a role not be used again if Acnologia was a sky dragon slay that infused other powers then there would be a point to it.

Wendy's ability to activate DF at will may be odd to most but to me what's odder still is the lack of scales. To me the scale illustrate an encroaching nature of the side effects of the magic the absence of them and the presence of treats controlled by genes is something that leads me to think she is activating ties that go deeper than just her magic. The hair is a throw back to Porlyusica but the pink eyes have no base but the bigger point her is these are things that are controlled by one's genes and untouched by any other slayer magic and only rare cases of take over magic and even then never the eyes. She was only five when sent back that is young enough to have had a early slayer as a parent. If her activating it at will was linked to genetics then it would explain the lack of the encroaching nature (scales) and the presence of the genetically controlled treats that go untouched by the magic in every other case while also going some what explain her learning rate with the magic. So this what makes me think Wendy is the daughter of Acnologia what do you guys think? Sorry for the extremely long post.

Acnologia is the only villain left, and your theory about Wendy being Acnologia's daughter is interesting, considering that both of them have blue hair. And while I do think it would be a unique plot twist, Acnologia looks like the kind of guy that would kill anybody on sight, including his wife and his daughter, which would mean that the chances of Wendy being his daughter is very low.

Given Mashima's writing so far, it seems Acnologia intends to end this war solo, but only time will tell to see what his true purpose is.

Honestly Acologia is portrayed as bloodthirsty as they come, but he was once on the side of coexistence before the dragonifcation got to him we don't know anything about t man behind the dragon. It could go two ways either he abductions Wendy which would be character development gold and a chance for Wendy to learn the attack spells that she missed out on and possibly fighting the team(probably Erza) later in a conflicted state, or he hesitates hearing Wendy's name called in horror and they get away and later he confronts Zeref with the entire team watching creating a point of contention between them with Wendy deciding that she owes it to the man Acologia use to be to stop him while sky dragon training would be cool I think the latter would be the best for her development.

Like I said the feathers are not always there like the scales are and in truth seem to function the opposite of the wings they resemble as they only seem to be there about fivish times the ezel fights and defending cheila(shipping fuel anyone)
