Fairy Tail is the greatest manga ever.
IMHO, by far, one of the worst mainstream series of the new millennium.

I just can't believe this was the real MVP of the story

Final arc imho truly went downhill once Irene's backstory was finished. Friendship power became talk no jutsu 2.0, in which it was the answer to every conundrum. The bad overshadowed the great which is disheartening. Nevertheless, I'm glad I found and supported the series, along with One Piece it helped me become a more avid anime fan. Hopefully no Boruto next gen, just spinoffs and season 3 of the anime would be perfect.

NnT is already outselling FT though.

Yeah, people still think that Fairy Tail is the flagship of the magazine although it has been decaying for a long time now. It was the moment to end, it would be bad for Mashima image if he continued it any longer.

@Ecchi Boy Fire Force :derp. One can hope but yeah ruggia and Leoat right, NNT has been selling better than FT for about 3-4 years, flagship means the most popular and sales is the best way to get an objective view on it. Also I just found out Sekiotai had a movie, is this series really that popular? I watched the anime and it was hilarious but dropped it too.

My thoughts on FT ending: final arc started off great, flowed well until somewhere past Natsu and Irene's backstory which it began a downward spiral for me.. the last 30 chapters were some of the worst in the series flat out. But highs is what you live for, through it all I enjoyed FT thoroughly, shit without it I wouldn't of ever found this site. I wonder if the WSM will suffer a Naruto effect once it ends, meaning its circulation will drop since some only grabbed the mag for FT.

Are you confusing Naruto with Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball was the one that dropped the circulation of Jump from one week to another after its ending. Naruto, on the other hand, as fas as I know, didn't have any news of the sort.

Probably :3c. Point still stands though, but I seriously can't believe circulation didn't drop at least a noticeable amount after Naruto ended. I'm not calling you a liar either.

Naruto was not Jump flagship in any moment of its run because there is One Piece. Since Naruto readers most likely read One Piece as well, it wouldn't make sense stop reading the magazine because Naruto ended, don't you think?

No question about NNT being the flagship now, they need another battle shonen to step up though in the worst way

Twin Star Exorcist author Sukeno drew a homage to FT's ending

Respect, this confirmed something I wanted to know for awhile; authors of different mag companies do read other mangas from competing mag companies. Sounds silly but used to think it was against their contract lol

Sorry, but I laughed hard here. There is no way that they could control authors like that. XD

You are absolutely right, companies should not control what a mangaka does on his off time.

It is just common sense. A guy that works on Walmart is prohibited to buy at Target? No, that's absurd. XD
They are companies, not enemies, they make collaborations together sometimes and all that.
