Maybe i'm the only one but i extremely dislike how the author/artist use the exact same face protagonist just different hair color and/or supporting characters for multiple series. You can't distinguish them.

Example of same face protagonist on multiple series

Barrage -> MHA (different color hair) although his rabbit one design is unique.
Beelzeblub -> Hungry Marie (exact same)
Early(?) Kuroko -> Robot x Laser Beam (different color hair)
Ichigo 100% - Ane Doki
Iron Knight - Red Spirte
Anything by Mx0 author

Maybe
Hungry Joker -> Black Clover ( i can kinda see the resemblance but they are different enough)
Black Cat -> To Love RU

Example of not same face
Each JoJo's part (you can make an argument on part 1 and 2)
Dr Slump -> Dragonball (different genres)
Takeshi -> Toriko (different genres but my point still stands)
Double Arts -> Nisekoi
Zombie Powder -> Bleach
Hikaru no Go -> Death Note -> Bakuman
Yu Yu Hakusho -> Level E -> Hunter x Hunter

I'd imagine that would happen in the manga at some point.

It'll most likely just be the most popular characters (Deku, Bakugo, Ochako, Tenya, Todoroki) going on some adventure

Well an origin is definitely involved. Here is Horikoshi's quote from Yonkou's twitter:

Deku and and his friends make their surprising debut on the silver screen! At the time I was told there was going to be a movie, I could scarcely believe it, but when it was clear it was really going to happen, I was so happy!! Of course, the movie will be filled with Class A's great efforts, that character's past that hasn't been in the manga yet, flashy action scenes, and much more, so please look forward to it!

Maybe everything BUT the hair colour? I agree with Tyvip, the face structure is almost exactly the same. Was not expecting it at all when I went to check out Hungry Joker for the first time. HJ dude is Asta with Blue hair and without the birds nest thingy on top. Not surprising considering Tabata’s same-face syndrome for female characters, though it’s not as prevalent for his males in BC at least.

This sounds dumb and obvious but how do popularity polls work? Just list your top 5 and mail back the postcard included in the issue? Also I’ll never understand Shinsou’s popularity, around S2 premiere people on tumblr was hyped for dude too.

That's exactly why I said that. Shinsou would not be there if it were not for the anime. About the poll, it seems that this time they used a different voting system. Internet, maybe.

That's great! It might give the manga a boost in sales. The picture seems kind of weird but I think it's because of the angle the picture of the poster was taken. It the rest of the list available anywhere?

That's exactly why I said that. Shinsou would not be there if it were not for the anime. About the poll, it seems that this time they used a different voting system. Internet, maybe.

They used texting this time around alongside the typical postcards. You'd send the character you like to a number to prevent multiple people voting....that of course doesn't negate people using burn numbers.
