In a group that features both Senegal and Japan, if Poland don't make it out, then it's their fault, I'm really disappointed in how they've played.
It's not over though, till the final whistle blows ...

Japan played some good football today, not spain-level kind of football, but good football.
I'll be really disappointed if they don't reach the knockout stage.

Because group seeds were decided by the amazing Fifa world ranking (that many teams manipulated by not playing friendlies). Back then, Poland was 6th and Spain was 8th (back to my other post, Portugal is the seed, not Spain, my bad). Now the way the ranking works will be changed.

Edit: switch Spain and Poland around and the groups seem way more reasonable.

It's something that I have laugh earlier that Poland is so high in FIFA ranking ( but I was wrong they're 8 not 10 )

so they where in the box with Portugal etc. during group draws while Spain was in another box because they have a lower place

Group G, featuring both Tunisia and Panama seems to be the easiest group.

Belgium and England shouldn't start feeling invincible till they play a proper footballing country, perhaps we shoud wait and see how they perform against each other.

This is very true, I see Belgium really really well though, better than England.


Lewandowski has to be one of the greatest disappointments of the tournament so far...
Anyway Colombia deserves to pass round as much as Japan or Senegal, this group's resolution will be interesting to watch.

Yeah, to go along with other sentiments here - it's refreshing to see teams like Belgium and England actually performing in groups... but then you look at the other half of their group... Tunisia is inexperience despite having some quality, but Panama is in their first ever WC because of a fucking phantom goal, and it was hilarious to me to see that bitch Torres running around the pitch like Panama was wronged in the first half. Give me a break, Panama should have just brought baseball bats instead of cleats.
