You know this episode was a reminder how much i didn't like paul at this part.
But beside that, it's also the fact this time in anime it really didn't hit me, maybe because i knew it was gonna happen, but it felt rather rushed and not as impactful as the other two medias (LN and manga) i just wish they stayed more on it and developed it. I was honestly expecting better
Back to paul, dude was expecting too much form a little kid, rudeus is a little kid even if he is technically reincarnated considering he was a neet so he wasn't really an adult even before.
He expected too much form rudeus and thought he be ok without really much worrying even where he ended up in, or if he even alive considering he could teleported inside an item or even get his body decapitated cuz of the teleportation, after all a lot of people died just form that.
I know you're depressed paul but damn you still a parent of rudeus, u gotta worry about him and if he even ok, be glad he back and you see him alive first, leave the other stuff for later...


Anyways about Ousama Ranking yea i probably will check it out seeing a lot of people liking also Saihate no Paladin is no mid tier show, fight me

Fair enough, even if I don't agree entirely. But hopefully we'll get the chapter animated where things are explained from Paul's perspective, which in my eyes helped a lot to understand his reasons. Don't think Paul was right either, but he did raise some points I can agree with.
Anyway, probably a discussion better left for the actual Mushoku thread

Good to hear you will check out Ousama Ranking. And everything about Paladin screams mid, the animation is barely there and yes, the VA isn't helping, seems really whiny. Couldn't help but drop it tbh, felt like wasted potential...

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi - I love ow futaba was feeling inferior with her homemade chocolates when she saw the high end onesTakeda got from a client. that chocolate bar sakurai gave to Kazama was so sweet. Love Natsumi & Futaba's friendship and how Natsumi keeps teasing her cutely . I really like their boss, lol, a nice guy !

I only watched those 2 so far, might edit & add something if I have time to watch.


edit : Adding Mieruko-chan (6) that was an interesting episode, those Miyazaki movies references That shrine scene was interesting, so there are friendly/celestial spirits. Hana is cute, that breast tho, she's just an highschool girl, but that's definitely something close to 36 D/E

Yeah, not really sure what can be done about it either.
1) wait for Netflix to show it officially 2-3 wks after it shows in Japan
2) download fansubs at some time after it releases. The time will be almost random.

Netflix buying the rights to an anime is just the worst.

Mainly because I think I'm past the point in my life where I am willing to download fansubs to watch a show. For all intents and purposes Komi doesn't exist to me until I can watch it conveniently. It's the only way.
