Seinen Black Lagoon by Hiroe Rei

Hey, after a bit of poking around there seems to be no info on the Black Lagoon manga here on Mangahelpers. So i decided to start this thread.

The Series follows Revy, Rock, Dutch, and Benny employees for the Black Lagoon delivery company who has occasional brushes against the law. The anime from these series was very well done and it got me reading the manga, sadly the manga is not scanlated past the anime at this current time.

There is not much manga past the anime yet. I've got volume 6 raws and that features the first few chapters that weren't animated yet.

Thanks for posting this! This was a great read. Too bad there isn't more...

My friend told me about Black Lagoon a while back, but he wanted me to watch the anime. I'm not too into anime, but I'll definitely check-out Black Lagoon.

nvm the poll is closed but after kenichi was disqualified it seems like black lagoon is the winner afterall i don't know if my post did any good but oh well

Volume 6 of Black Lagoon has been fully scanlated and placed on the Rapidshare
2 days ago. Unfortunately the creator did not leave credit within the file.

If anyone knows who created it please let me know so I can thank them. They did a great job.
This volume includes all of the 'Greenback Jane' arc, and the first three chapters of 'El Baile de la muerta'.

'El Baile de la muerta' is the first (on-going) new story to continue past the anime. Currently its on Part 16
(printed in the Dec 07 issue of Sunday GX).


Note: The order of the stories is different in the anime to the original manga.

Black Lagoon is found within the magazine Sunday GX published on the 19th of each month.
So chapter 60 is due 19th Jan 08.

We are 4 chapters into what will be Volume 8 (approx. half-way).

raw-paradise seems ok. Its a French site. It shouldn't make a difference though. Here's the

The translations are done by a 4ch member named Anonymous Spore, he's doing somewhat daily translation of Vol.7 at the moment, and he was responsible for the translation of Vol. 6. His updates show up when they do on the /a/ forum and he posts once during the day and once during the night.

- 3-5 are being skipped as they are already covered by the anime.
- He was going to do them in his spare time but seeing as the raws for vol.8 are coming out monthly by Sunday GX, it's hard to say.
