I wasn't trying to make any point, it was just some trivia.
I don't think the historical genre would do well in Jump, but then again, nobody would have imagined that the pirate genre would do...
Hitler appeared in Jojo part 2.
I don't think Hitler and Mussolini have lots of fans in Japan. The nearest you'll get of an historical manga in Jump should be Kenshin.
But then again, Kenshin's got lots of unrealistic things and...
What happened with that other kid Sei was supposed to have? He has been mentioned like twice but he's yet to appear.
Very unlikely. It needs a little bit more.
There's no need for a Kuroro vs Hisoka fight. The anticlimatic feeling that their last confrontation left is poetic enough for me.
HxH: On Break
EDIT: Ninja'd by Leoat :gwah:gwah
That was about time!! Does it mean Tsubasa is ending again? Or would they run simultaneously?
Even if it's way too early, the three new series seem like a future flunk to me. Good news for Kamigakami and Black Clover fans.
But it can also worsen the writing. If people dropped Bleach by soul society arc, I doubt they'll like it now. ( it is just an example, I'm not trying to critizise Bleach)
You surely cannot appreciate the subtlety of all the aspects of this great comic. I mean, the writing puts Shakespeare to shame. We're in front of the new masterpiece of the millenium, I tell ya.
Dude, it's exactly like Jaguar was some years ago. Isobee's always last precisely because it's popular.
Is UBS ranked yet?
No, there's a week off, a week with One Piece (22-23), and then a week without Jump.
Slam Dunk ended abruptly. So Haikyuu could go even further. Popularity is not an issue here, Haikyuu is safe for years. Plotwise, I can't tell since I don't read it.
Those are just specials. They are not series moving.
I don't think so. Jump series are very personal. It's like those people who think that HxH should (and will) be drawn by someone else in the future. But it will never happen. When Akimoto retires,...
Hunter x Hunter - (back after two more hiatus)
Wow, you've reached a new top here.
By the way, I'm really liking Black Clover too. It sure gives a Dostoyevsky vibe.
The panel itself is as NSFW as someone's avatar here...:teehee
By the way, I Started reading Tegami Bachi. First chapter's good. Not great, but good. I'll keep reading.
Major TLR Darkness spoiler. It could be considered NSFW
Could this mean he finally chose Sairenji?? Maybe TLR Darkness is ending?
Yeah, because merchandising doesn't exist. :ginwut
Some of these mangas are not only mangas to be sold or to be ranked, but franchises like Gintama, One Piece, Kochikame, Bleach...
Easy question provided that I already know the answer. Should I read Tegami Bachi? Why?
He means that series that got color also had people who voted for them, and that some of them may have had scored higher if they weren't unraked.
And even then there's still the Naruto Miniseries, and maybe Gintama, WT if things go wrong, Nisekoi (?)... It's too early to judge.
BC can still make it out alive for some time, Roggy and UBS on the other hand don't seem like they're going to have a long run...
Hisoka is the direct responsible of Gon's growth in the early stages of the manga, and had a very important role in York Shin. The exam was a constant struggle against him until the Illumi fight. If...
That depends of how long does it take the manga to end. I don't think he will, though. Historically, there's still about 20 years until the unification from the point where the manga is, so we'll...
Then you should read the manga or rewatch the anime. Since Hisoka IS the plot in early HxH.
WTF? No, really. I don't get it.
Yeah, I wasn't paying attention.
It's clearly fake. Didn't anybody else notice that Kochikame is by Oda, Bleach is by Matsui and Soma is by Sorachi? And those are just some examples...
It seems the Black Clover position could indeed be due to the april 1st joke.
By the way, what's up with the forum lately?
Probably that didn't happen, and you know it.
Let's see what happens with Black Clover. People were thinking it was already the new hit of the century, too bad reality has striken again.
Nonetheless, its survival is assured for the time being...
I thought the biggest community was in Peru, but yeah, it makes more sense it being Brazil since it's a bigger country.
On topic: I wonder how long are Ageha and GH going to last. Next...
How can you know that it's going to be Kishimoto and that's going to be 2 chapters?
Let's open the debate. Is Dainenjiyama dying or not?
In this thread it seems that bashing Bleach makes you a better manga critic. Bleach is nowhere near perfect, but it's tiring to have it always as an example of "how not to do things"....
That would probably be axed in its first cancellation round. :teehee
This hiatus was not planned. He had to urdergo surgery, hence the hiatus began. He's still got some months in order to fully recover. We can't do nothing but wait.
I disagree. The ending was nearly perfect.
Well, let's see what's it about. I'm not sure if I'm gonna pick it up. Is it by Kishi?
Lemme get the point clear since it seems I'm not making myself understood. The side stories are most likely light novels, like this Kakashi Hiden, the first of the "Naruto secret chronicles" which...
I'm mistaking something? I think it's pretty clear. A new story doesn't mean a new manga. And being published by Jump Books doesn't equal to being published in WSJ. As I stated here in november,...
No, no. The novel ain't going to be serialized in Jump. Nor any spin off. Those are published by Shueisha but not in the main magazine, of course.
That spin off is only a series of light novels ,illustrated by Kishi but written by somone else (Higashiyama Akira)
I recently bought a tankobon (Jojolion 9) and I got the typical shueisha avdertising flyer. (Called jump paradise)
It has info on the special Naruto project due to happen in 2015....
Wow. I'm really surprised. Never tought Soul Catchers was so well received. I can imagine Jump moving it to Next instead of cancelling it right away only because of that. Sales also have a certain...
I can't know since I don't follow WT, but isn't ending in 2016 or early 2017 a very good run for a series which clearly is not a hit?
What about Bastard? Is there anything new?
Am I the only one who prefers Iwashiro's flawed art (in Psyren) over Amano's technically correct soul-less art?
