umezu fans: I just released my name is shingo volume 4 on my tumblr so go git it manginaflower.tumblr.com
no idea where else to post this, it sucks that manga updates doesn't allow linking anymore
A bad translation can really ruin something for me; I used to not care so much, but now I just straight up ignore something unless there's a proper English adaptation of it.
The only reason I couldn't get into it was the bad translation. :p

Best be careful for it going out of...
I read the poorly scanlated version first and couldn't get into it at all, but then just took the plunge and bought the Viz edition. Freaking loved it.
Yeah this is a good one, glad to be working on it.
Sohta's the guy whose name everyone keeps forgetting (so yeah, the engineer with glasses); and his wife Kayo is the one with the curly hair. <3
Yeah it's really cutely drawn. I loved the couple, Sohta and Kayo, a lot!
I'm currently reading the Viz edition of Saturn Apartments, and it's grown on me immensely. I think those few scanlated (and very poorly translated) volumes don't do it justice at all. So definitely...
Every chapter of volume 18 has been scanlated (though with scans from the pre-publication). All that's left is that final book.
The anime is so terrible. But in a bad way.
There's fucking tits & ass all over. What the what?!
Gyo is just trashy; not much to stomach, all love. <3
Well if it runs in Fellows I'll give it a go.
Man I really lost track of this manga... I think I'm gonna reread it once it's finished. Viz should get on this, though.
Nice, I don't like manga to go on forever and this way I'm pretty sure Viz will stick with it until the end.
Love this crazy-ass manga.
Anyone here ever read Peepo Choo by Felipe Smith? I got the books after reading a scanned version of the first volume, and it is pretty nuts. Plus the underlying social commentary makes it a lot more...
Zoo in Winter was pretty great. I've been lucky that they published a bunch of Taniguchi's books in Dutch; among which My Father's Journal, Hareyuki Sora, and Distant Neighbourhood.
I don't like the 21st century. :(
I want cheesy 80's/90's cyberpunk action.
Also I saw that Alita wears a catsuit in more recent volumes; need I say more?
It's really a pity that starting with Last Order, the art moved away from that gritty 90's cyberpunk look; and the story also moved away from being heartfelt and to the point.
One of those cases...
Anyone else has the first book yet? I just received it in the mail this week, and it is glorious.
Here's a short Vine about it I made: https://vine.co/v/b3riBmzKJWE
I tried reading this one before but really didn't find it likeable; but yes in general IKKI is a great source for weird alternative manga.
Well usually there are like 8-ish chapters per volume, and the magazine chapters released so far only run up to 5. So it'll probably be sometime early fall?
Yeah but Jmanga was basically just a moniker for a collaboration between a bunch of Japanese publishers; much like how Viz has become a moniker for Shueisha and Shogakukan publications in recent...
Man I'm really debating on whether or not I should start sharing those SoreMachi scans at one point...
Love those fluorescent spines. Just like my Drifting Classroom books.
Yep, great stuff.
Support the official version so we'll get more manga like this: http://www.bookdepository.com/search?searchTerm=dorohedoro&search=Find+book (worldwide free shipping)
I've always wanted to sample one of Takahashi's works; aside from some Sidooh chapters an eternity ago. So I'm getting the files now and will try and read it today/tomorrow.
---------- Post added...
Yeah I get that 100%. I'm lucky in that I've done work for Jmanga along with the same people who did SoreMachi; so I have access to the files. Just finished the 10th and most recent volume yesterday,...
Matt you would probably like Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru; if you haven't read it yet. I'm almost caught up with it (8/10 books) and it is so enjoyable.
I thought the follow-up A Patch of Dreams was a lot better.
Pre-ordered my copy today as well. Can NOT wait, despite the fact I already read the first book on scans.
I actually also ordered Tekkon Kinkreet and Blue Spring, just because Matsumoto is the man.
I don't want to bug him about it, but anyone else is free to do so with my blessing.
whoops guess I let this one slip
yeah I've been crazy busy with work ever since the last scanlation, and with Matsunaga ramping up the amount of text in each chapter I'm not very inclined to get...
Kind of seems so, with Mamoru being interrupted by the agent on the bike.

Strictly, both seinen. None of Mori's series ran in josei magazines.
Lol, you're thinking a bit too much in terms of "most manga." ;p
Chapter 11 scanlation released.
Now all that's left is to read Bakune Young; probably Matsunaga's most deranged work.
Amazing show. It's been a while since I've been impressed with an anime series.
I doubt he'll change his releasing habits; a faster schedule definitely isn't an option since he's working on this alone. For example 2 chapters per week would mean 3-page chapters. I doubt it'll end...
I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people interested, just a question of finding a group that'll convert those translations into actual releases. ;) Maybe try Deadbeat-Scans? They're doing Rookies now,...
I actually liked the first 2 volumes best so far, but volumes 7-8 had a very nice Resident Evil/Dawn of the Dead atmosphere.
It's worth your time.
Lol, that drawing of the moon was obviously just a photo. ;p
Matsunaga posted chapter 9 this morning, I might not get to it right away since I have some work to finish up in the next few days.

this manga sucks go read boys on the run (slight exaggeration)
It's a fun manga, but much like with Otoyomegatari the publication is way too slow to keep track of.
whyyyyy is this manga so slow in output :(
it's literally the only bad thing about it
Crazy, definitely didn't see it coming and probably explains the recent downgrade in artwork.
