So Inoue released sketches for 297:
So does anybody know what happened to raw paradise? Everytime I try to visit, it forwards me to Shueisha's japanese website...
No, I'm pretty sure that Inoue is setting up the final leg of the manga here. I doubt he's just going to abruptly end it like this. I expect a few episodes inbetween, and I expect Musashi vs....
I thought Musashi fought at the Battle of Osaka. I'm hoping Inoue shows:
1. The fight with Gonnosuke
2. The Battle of Osaka
3. A battle with Hyogonosuke.
I don't think Gonnosuke will be addressed, and the fight with Kojiro will extend for about three volumes and thus until the end of the year or early 2011.
I don't understand how the stakes are any different. In all the fights, everybody's life is on the line. To me, those are the highest stakes possible.
In a samurai manga, I want to see some...
I feel too many loose ends haven't been tied. I still wanted to see Hyogonosuke in action as well as Gonnosuke.
Raw is up on raw paradise
I think it's far too early to be ending Vagabond. He needs at least two years to give the series a coherent ending.
That said, I've been following Vagabond since I was about 11 or 12 years old. I...
Best fights in the series in no particular order:
- Kojiro vs. Koun
- Musashi/Kojiro/Gonnosuke/Ittosai vs. Tokugawa soldiers at Sekigahara
- The first fight between Musashi and Inshun
Check your local comic store if you want to buy at a 10$ a volume. Many don't know about Vagabond, so comic stores usually have the manga in stock.
It's been about a week. I was wondering if NSN was planning on just releasing 285 anytime soon.
Can you post this episode or link to a place where I can DL it?
I think judging by the end of 282, that this fight is more of a draw than a loss for Musashi. Maybe even a loss for Ito. After all, Musashi isn't wounded, is he?
If we are instead to consider what...
Incorrect. In'ei mentioned that Inshun would be dead because Inshun was blocking with the middle, wooden part of his spear. A swing by Musashi with a real sword would have penetrated the wood and cut...
Cliffhanger. Could Musashi finally be back in business?
266 has been the most interesting one I've read so far. Can't believe Musashi and Kojiro are going to be in the same castle.
Anybody have RAWs of 263 and 264 yet?
Anybody know if this has been scanned yet?
Was 263 released this week?
Thanks for giving us yet another great chapter.
God knows what Musashi is going to get into.
Looks like Kojiro got a position at a castle.
Sketches are up on Inoue's site. Musashi appears to be standing in one.
I'm assuming Vagabond 261 has been released in Japan. It's supposed to be featured in the Feb. 5th issue of Morning, so I guess that was supposed to be today if the Japanese forward the dates on...
Vagabond is a pretty popular manga in Japan, so I'm expecting an anime to be produced sometime along the line.
Or maybe an OAV.
Just thought I should let the Vagabond faithful know that the next chapter will be coming out Feb. 5th according to Inoue's blog.
Be vigilant and be sure to look for the scans. We've been without...
I just want to see Musashi walking again.
256 sketches are up on Inoue's site. Check 'em.
Speak of the devil. Vagabond is finally back. Hopefully the raw is realeased soon.
Check his site for sketches:
Musashi's leg needs to hurry up and heal, dammit.
As for going to jail, I guess it would provide for a proper segue to Kojiro's side of the story. I'm not sure if it's a welcome one, though.
Does anybody know if the Kodansha magazine that Vagabond is published in does subscription sales internationally?
If so, I'm willing to subscribe to this and post the scans online whenever I get...
Whoever knows how to get the last few chapters of Vagabond, I'll be forever in your debt if you can find them and post them!
Post them if you got them.
It's been a while since the last raw came up.
It's not like Musashi is undefeated anyway. He lost to Inshun the first time around, and "tied" the second time.
I expect Musashi to lose to Muso.
I'm starting to think that Inoue might be using Musashi's wound as a way to say: "That's all, folks"!
He ended Slam Dunk with Sakuragi sustaining a severe back injury. I'm thinking he might end...
I'm eager to get to the next story arc and see who Musashi is taking on next. The Yoshioka are destroyed so nobody will be coming after him.
I'm guessing it's going to be Musashi vs. Muso...
Heiji, you are my fucking hero.
Vagabond 244 was finally released in Japan.
Rejoice! Hopefully, we'll be getting it soon here.
Damn serializations and their cliffhangers.
Watching Musashi walk through the field full of corpses astonishes me. You knew he killed boatloads of people, but actually viewing the aftermath of the...
Finally came out. Thank god!
Not much to say about this one, just more fighting, really. This sort of sequence would be good for a graphic novel, but the serialization format just makes it seem...
I think Ueda's either going to live on or make one final blitz towards Musashi before eventually being cut down. I'm expecting Inoue to pull out some surprising twist at the end of this saga. I'm...
This was a very good chapter, and the end of this particular saga is going to come to a close within the next two or three chapters, and I'm eager to see where Musashi heads from here, as well as the...
Agh, tell us what happens, please. I can't wait anymore!
I'm just curious--Do the raws surface on mIRC first or is their a website where people post scans of serializations?
Inoue just released sketches for 234, meaning that the episode has been released, finally!
It's been months now, and I'm eager to see where Inoue picks up at. Can anybody tell what's being said in...
Thought it was supposed to come out on June 19th! I check Inoue's site daily for some signs of life from the Vagabond front, but nothing.
Anybody have any idea when it'll finally hit Japan?
Just finished reading 228.
This is probably the best chapter Inoue has done yet in the series, and I'm not being generous here. Look at the artwork and the coordination of the chapter. It's just...
Alright, as I expected, Musashi was going to build upon his Niten Ichi method in this battle.
I guess his method was to bypass the "flesh and bones" of the Yoshioka and go straight for its...
