I am fluent in spanish and english (although I have a spanish speaking accent). I have also wanted to learn german and italian for a long time (german is cool, italian is easy and both are a part of my heritage).

Only fluent in Indonesian since I'm Indonesian, and English (not really fluent though) because I'm studying abroad now... I can't speak Chinese, but I do understand bits of it since my parents can speak Chinese.

I'm fluent in Indonesian and English(perhaps xD). I'm can understand Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, a bit Hokkien/Khe(Southern Chinese dialect), and a bit Cantonese(only learnt for 1 month). Planning to deepen Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese, and perhaps learn new languages(German, French, Italian, Russian) Anyone willing to teach me? :P
Learning languages is really fun ^^

Indonesian as my mother tongue, obviously. Then English. English feels like my second mother tongue now, considering that I'm involved with English as much as Indonesian each day in my life. :3 Then a little bit Japanese from what I learned at high school and from anime I watched. That's all. I wish I could speak tons of other language. Maybe it would be fun spending your life learning various kind of languages. XD

Order of fluency/what I know most:
Japanese/German (meaning I can only understand very few words)
I can verbally communicate in these languages to some extent and can only read it in English. English and Gujarati, I grew up listening. Hindi, I learned and learn from movies with subtitles and guessing, as well as looking at lyrics and its translations. Useful for listening to Hindi songs.

I'm fluent in English and Bangla. I'm currently learning Japanese.
Sadly I can't read in my own native langauge (Bangla). I know most of my Japanese characters (Katakana and Hiragana) and read excellently in English. I can read Arabic as well because I'm Muslim and need to learn Arabic for the Quran but I don't understand the meaning of most Arabic words.

German - Native speaker
English - Unfortunately I'm not as fluent as I would like to be. Especially speaking is still a problem if you're not used to it..
French - Only understand/read
Japanese - About JLPT 3~4. Still a lot to learn and love it
I'm also interested in Korean, Spanish and Russian but I need to improve my English/Japanese first to a decent level.
I started learning Japanese so many times and needed to drop it because of school. But now I have the time and hope I'll use it wisely.

Chinese - Mandarin.
I've forgotten the rest that I learned early in highschool, but dropped, like French/German/Latin/Greek.
Moderator message by: NaomideeAdded. I didn't know that you knew Mandarin though, BakaHaze. That's pretty cool.

The last time I answered to this thread was like... three of four years ago? So I've actually studied another language, yay..... It's latin! I can speak it a bit and understand it somehow if spoken, but I've mostly just studied to read it.

Ah, found a beautiful thread <3
Anyway, I so love learning new languages, I hope once I can proudly say I'm multilingual.
My mother language is Slovak and I'm fluent in Czech as well; they're similar and I spent holidays there when I was a kid.
I don't know how good my english is, I'm a student of a slovak-english billigual school though. Let's just say I'm fluent in english as well, although I know I make grammar mistakes here and there.
I've studied spanish for a year; I quit due to.. well, the professor had bad teaching skills and I started to dislike the language because of that, so I just quit. I quite understand written text, but it's more like I just figure out what is the text about from few things I remember
And soo, as my second foreign language (after english), I have italian now. My cousin lives there, so I use to go there for long visits. And as for now, I know very little, I hope I'll be better next holidays
Eh, it's not over, I'm also learning japanese, but that's just a form of self-study. No problem with sentence structure, particles and other basic things but I have no resolve to learn kanji I'm saying to myself, once I get my e-reader I'll study more.
I used to learn german (for six years, haha) but I know absolutely nothing now. Oh, I remember 'Eins zwei polizei, drei vier officier, funs sechs alte hex...' but that's it.
Hey and I can read arabic, but that's just from a year-game in scout
Uff, I think I have a history with languages. But I swear I'll be fluent in them, once! (A)
Added. (Toooo many *cries*) ~Icei
