With any luck they'll serialize the manga outside of the U.S. (Canada maybe?). This is wishful thinking though since we don't even have Tenjho Tenge in the U.K., and if we do it's damn hard to find.
It's amazing how manga has become such a world wide phonomenon.
I'm just shocked that Gantz hasn't become mainstream in the US, due to the fact that it is one of the best Seinen.
Gantz is a great seinen. But it is not the only one out there, and usually seinens don't get mainstream attention. Like Monster or 20thCB and a lot of other titles.
Consider it as an "underground" success.
yeah um.. I was wondering. During the Nuri mission, there were army guys involved somewhere right?
did these guys get to see the gantzers or no?
Remember Babo when Katou was arguing with the SDF that he was a special unit in order to save Nerdo from getting shot? After Tengu and Snoopy stepped on them.
Or when the public saw them and they thought they did cosplay?
Rules have changed, and I think the second phase is named for the plan that Gantz has.
Oh right, now I remember. Coz they also saved the old couple or something. Man, that totally changes everything!
And people have been able to see the Gantz teams since that last mission (I think it was the Oni mission, right?) with He-Who-I-Hate-To-Name-For-Fear-Of-HollowKurono's-Superfan-Wrath.
I think that was before 2nd Phase, and the Tokyo team was caught briefly on the news.
You have just been edjumakated!
So Marmo...what do you think of the ending of the mission?
Did ye like it? I didn't...
But, honestly, I thought it was over when that pretty boy vampire cut Nurai in half without Nurai noticing him. It would've been interesting to see how the vampire would use the 100 points.
Of course, we all know how many points my panda chica has.
and Hoi Hoi gets zero points, just to piss Marmo off. hee. kidding.
And everything's just too chaotic now since normal people get to see the gantzers now. Or do you guys think it was just for this mission?
if they weren't part of the team, anzu wouldn't know about their status:
