I don't know... as it stands there's very little potential for harm. Even then the guy has no intention of harming others. And even though he might be selling them to people, those people won't know how to modify them. If they were capable they'd probably have made their own.
Seems a little paranoid to me. I wonder where this guy lives? Probably way easier to acquire a gun than to weaponise a laserbeam if he wants to do anybody harm.
You're right that we can't know his intentions. I'd still say there's a 99% chance it's just a hobby. Personally I don't think it's a big deal. And in the event that he does weaponise it somehow and kills a few people, so what? It happens. If he's going to do it he'll find a way, whether he has some kind of laser or not.
What does volume 32 cover? Looks like it has the new Gantzer's on the cover... I thought these things took time to come out. Didn't realise they'd catch up so quickly.
weird there is no Tae, does that mean in vol32 there won't be spamage of tae?! I think the whole group is going to soon kill alot of aliens before one chokes it.
Yes there will be...a lot as always.
I've recently read Gantz and it took me only two days. It's a really one-dimensional no brainer, but well staged action instead, can't say it's the type of manga I preferr. Still was an okay read though.
Theres no Hiroto on the cover...
Gantz is absolutely amazing to read and to observe, with almost 3D animation that I find very intriguing. The story is pretty fucked up, but I love it anyways. I stumble across this manga when I was trying to search for a new manga to read, since I am getting a bit sick of tired of the way things are going on in Bleach. I expect realistic in the stories that I read, and Bleach is far from it.
And must I say the Tanaka Aliens and Onion aliens rules! I hope theirs more of these aliens in future.
This manga is so highly detailed that I don't even have to depend on the anime to figure things out. It certainly helps my imagination.
I think the manga should be updated more often than as is now. I can't really get into the discussions as I did before, because I feel that the past discussions has covered almost every possibility that this manga can come from. I've predicted allot of stuff before it happened. And the worst part of it was that I had to wait a really long time before it happened.
Gantz is addicting. I agree. But when that addiction becomes neglected into a 2-3 month release, which gives enough time to think out plenty of scenarios a chapter can take (also with the past discussions some insane members posted on the forum and other community forum sites) it's really too hard to stay surprised. The only thing that stays throughout the chapter is the tension when a MAIN character (mainly a Gantzer) and their loved one is about to die. You will see people dying in buildings, in school, in public and you won't feel a thing - maybe because that it's a manga drawing and we hear no sound effects...
And honestly, the movie was OK. It just wasn't fulfilling. It didn't follow the manga as much.
This is a story that should NOT be adapted to a 2 hour movie or a movie trilogy.
This is a movie that should be dealt with a live-action TV series. Mainly Starz, HBO, or Showtime would take under their wing and make it a legend (if they adaptably follow the storyline). Knowing them, it would use English characters based in a different country. Gantz isn't something that can be handled by 2-3 hours. It would need more.
