Yo this thread is dead, ill revive it.
I jsut thought who was stronger the Oni alien or this Nurarihyon, from apearance Nurari doesnt look that cool to me,but newer judge the book by the cover, but this time i have no idea whos stronger, better, faster,ur opinions? If it was Kurono and Izumi now they would take that son of an alien bith down like they did that with the Oni.
Who knows? Nurarihyon seems more mysterious and might pose a much larger threat in general, but th Oni Aliens were extremely strong physically. It's a toss up, but I'd venture to say that the Nurarihyon will win out because it just makes sense to have a stronger enemy in a new scenario, why step back in difficulty?
^yeah ur right, but Nurari is stronger in his mystical powers but Oni was stronger in his strenght, and he could do some lighting things, but yeah i think Nurari is sronger to,hes the 100 pointer after all.

Eh...not really. The only similarities is a giant cyclops.
The thing Katou fights is a head with arms and legs.
Well maybe that's just Oku Hiroya's take on that yokai.
Maybe so, if that Yokai is really based on actual myth.
I think it's too early to say who is more powerful out the two bosses although Oni boss had excellent physical attributes and his lightning abilities he was also supposedly the strongest alien in Gantz history did that include all of Gantz, I mean like all around the world or just tokyo? If it includes every single Gantz target ever then Oni is by far superior since Oka Hachirou took down a 100 pointer that could not have been superior to the Oni boss if the statement applied to every single Gantz target ever.
Strength is based on point totals. No enemy that the Tokyo team has ever faced has been worth 100 points. So that would mean that the Oni alien is considerably weaker than Nuriwhosyomomma. The aliens are supposed to be getting tougher and tougher, so enough said.
Where is it said that point totals are based on strength? Until this mission, point totals have been completely random and there was no way keep a tally of them until after the mission ended.
I think we may be able to assume that strength correlates with point totals, but who really knows?
HELLO, everyone. Sorry if I'm interrupting any conversation. I never knew there was a Gantz hangout thread. It's my favorite manga after naruto, OP and Bleach. I just like the way the author writes his stuff, he gives you what you want in the when you did not expect it and he's not scared to take out a character just to make the plot better. He never even lets you guess what could happen next. It's like all the chapters are surprises. I did not expect Kurono to be so much in love with the girl he is now, since he was such a pervert and I did expect that his brother would die either. But the THING that we surely did not expect was for Kurono to be killed. The great thing about the story is that we know he can come back, but we don't know when. As for me, I think we might see him pretty soon, as a surprise in the upcoming chapters.
