I just read up to chapter 75. I'm absolutely on edge about this manga!
It's quite an interesting turn, and for sure I feel it's huge character development to touch on Kai's sexuality. He's been raised in a place of hookers, and has seen his mother in the act a dozen times, and has been almost raped himself. So I don't really know his views are on sexuality.
Maybe to some genius and androgynous person like him, it doesn't seem too be important. Or maybe he doesn't value it that much. Or he has understood it to be merely human nature that one can't escape from.
Is he really in love, I wonder? If so, I'm excited how this will affect his music.
Be prepared for a pretty cold shower.
During volume 10 this manga went on hiatus for a few years, and when it came back, Isshiki sort of ignored the romance subplot and went a different direction.
Oh really? Well, I'm not really someone who complains much about mangaka and whatever decisions they wish to take regarding manga I read. If I don't like how it turns out I simply drop it.
I hope that's not the case for this manga though.
Hey guys, got some bad news. The person who owns the KEFI site says he's closing it down some time in December. Since I don't really have any options to take it someplace else; along with staff continuously bailing on me, and its never ending status wearing my motivation down... I've decided to stop working on it.
Hopefully some other good group takes over (or it gets licensed), because I still like reading it.
I'll probably do a final release in the coming weeks, containing the end of volume 9, and the first chapter of volume 10 which was the last one I did any work on.
aw that is indeed bad news, barba. But thanks for informing us anyway and giving a last release of some sorts.
I do hope some good group picks this up.
Wow a lot of releases for this manga just this week! I think Easy Going Scans picked this up? thanks a lot guys!
does.. anyone else have a say on this manga?
how are the chapter releases in Japan? I'm curious as to how the scans are catching up, mainly because I'm wondering how far I am in the story. I'm at chapter 107 right now, where Kai is seen consulting a doctor who specializes in hand injuries.
I think Kai is talking to the doctor not for himself but for Ajino's sake. Kai treats Ajino like his father, and I think he's really concerned and wants Ajino to get better so he consults the doctor.
I think this series is great. I hope it gets released in volumes outside of Japan for many people to enjoy it.
yes exactly. I just recently decided that if I find this in my favorite bookstore (my source of manga), I'm going to buy it. So far I haven't seen it on the shelves, but I'll try to ask if I can order through them.
As I said I read until volume 22, if you need help to translate or understand some parts of the sotry you can ask me on this topic.
maybe you want to work on the project?
