    I think that would actually be good writing in a way, to parallel the SS arc with Hueco Mundo with the vital exception that the result is different. I dunno, that just gives off a cool effect.

    A betrayal just to have a betrayal would have absolutely no point. Chad and Nel are two of the most loyal people to Ichigo, they're not going to betray him.

    Do you mean Nel or Orihime?

    I agree Chad can never betray Ichigo.

    However, if you really meant Nel, they just met for a few days. I dunno what would motivate her for betrayal, but she can't readily be trusted either.

    If it's Orihime, I think it's highly possible (though it wouldn't really be "betrayal" but rather she was coerced to doing it). She is easily swayed, like when Aizen through ulq threatened her and she didn't have a choice but to obey. Actually she did have a choice, but not obeying would have caused a lot of destruction. Similarly, I think Aizen will again use her vulnerability by threatening more lives, and to choose between Ichigo or the greater of mankind, she'd choose to 'save' mankind.

    @MegaX,

    I get what you mean at the parallelism thing. However, I'd have appreciated that style if it was subtle or more 'between the lines' kinda treatment. This blatant style is too cheap IMO.
