FC Porto was suspended from the CL this year, due to the process 'Apito Final', where Porto lost 6 points in the league. That time, Porto didnt contest the decision, because we had over 20 points of advantage in comparison to the 2nd placed, and contesting the decision could imply a loss of points in the next season instead. It happens that UEFA doesnt allow a team that doesnt contest corruption related decisions in their competitions. The spot Porto will give in CL will be filled by the 4th placed, Benfica
AC Milan have also been awarded a CL place too because CSKA Sofia have financial problems.
When was the last time a club got kicked out of the Cl, in my five years of footballing exp i dont remember anything like this and now two clubs are out
said it might not happen. I really wouldnt put it past uefa to do something like that, but since the site seems to not have any valid source, i guess they're just making a story out of nothing.
Now Milan wont be in the CL since the Bulgarian FA decided to give the UEFA license they took from CSKA to Levski Sofia.http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=723059
There is still a very very outside chance AC will get Porto's place but it'll go to Benfica most probably
Why should Milan go to CL for an incident that happened to another country's club? If that happens I find it ridiculous and unfair to every other European team who isn't in the CL.
The reason i belive was that CSKA had the license revoked without a license you cant play in the CL and no other team in Bulgaria had one. Since there were no bulgarian clubs able to play logic dictates that the place should go to the club who have the highest UEFA rank and are not already in the competition will be the replacement which was AC.
Now the Bulgarian FA are likely to give UEFA license they took from CSKA to Levski Sofia so they can participate
I watched Argentina vs U.S. yesterday, man does the U.S. really suck. Why cant U.S. even compete. I'm pretty sure that tit's because the U.S. plays on a smaller field than European teams do right?
Seems like someone really wants AC Milan in the CL
If AC do get a place which team is next, Valencia
Just read in the argentinian press that Inter is interested in Aguero. Is is true? If it is, Ibrahimovic + Kun Aguero = Best attack duo in the world (I'm not saying it because he used to play for the team I support )
