Updating the first post to include all of Kishimoto's known interviews:
Kishimoto interview @Jump Festa 2008
The one where he says he doesn't know what that thing is on Naruto's arm:
An interview where Kishimoto answers as Kakashi:
Hidden Leaf Q & A 58 Questions asked to Masashi Kishimoto!
Apologies that this has taken so long. To be honest, I really thought that someone out there would have a copy of Shonen Jump's Naruto Anime Profiles Episodes 1-37 by now, as it has been widely available here in the UK, for about a month - specifically someone with a scanner!
Just a note: I typed everything exactly as is, including punctuation such as exclamation marks, parentheses (brackets) and the three-dot ellipsis (...) except that I've often used British spelling (just out of habit). Typing all this certainly brought back memories of learning to touch type back in school! My fingers are tingling!
EDIT: On page 2 Gold Knight has also typed out an interview that Kishi did for Shonen Jump as Kakashi!
Most interesting comment? Q1. For me, that answers a long debated question about how closely related the anime and manga are in the making.
Q7 was the other - Anko! Why the heck didn't he develop her more?!? She's my favourite female character too, and for the same reason as Kishi! How frustrating! I guess he can't develop every single character. Dammit.
The other thing I found interesting was the length of time he spends on chapters. I thought it might take quite a while just to get the drawings down pat - and then there's the writing, editing etc. So yeah, hard work.
Anyway, those are what I found interesting.

I wish he would develop some of the other characters too...
It is always great to get the words from the authors mouth
thanx for transcribing those, Kadoman
No worries Mate!
Any chance for posting all of them?Quote:
There is a chance - though not soon. There are about 50 questions and it's a matter of getting time to type them all out (I don't have a scanner). I'll see if I can do something like that at the weekend.
Hmm...I would have thought loads of people would have a copy (someone with a scanner at least!). Is it not available in America?
If I could get my hands on that interview I would transcribe it the very same day!! It'd try to make it look good and easy to read too!! So, if you have a friend who has a scanner or if anyone bored to type has a clear image of the interview PM me. By the way, I'm talking about English, I (sadly) don't understand Japanese (yet).
Wow, that's a really kind offer Anax! I do have a friend who has a scanner, so yeah, I'll try and do something about it. It's all in English!

so they won't change their mind , believe it ! haha )
Anko Anko Anko ahhhh! . I think he had smth to do with that filler with her.
2-5 days for a chapter , hmmm , i wonder how long it took to do a

thanks for posting this! it was an interesting read. could've been longer, but maah... that's not your fault anyway! ^^
When author says:
I hope something happens to my characters in my manga.
I want something to happen to my characters in my manga
So he says that he wants Ino, Saku and Hinata to have a love life. Which is logical since earlier he stated that he wants to put in romance in part 2.
IMO ofcourse :]
Thankyou, your a credit to the Naruto/Hinata shippers! XDOriginally Posted by kubik
