Yep, just a matter of time before they were exterminated...I can't really say i blame Madara for leaving. Considering what we have seen of Tobimaru, i say he will have exterminated them. Even after the first said that he should stop persecuting them, he didn't.
So it was indeed a test of Guts from madara

Well and by the looks of it, Madara have already known or thought about Infinite Tsukoyomi ... Cause he mentioned he figured out what to do ..
Now thats something i never would have guessed, that Hashirama would suggest Madara as Hokage.
But the "turning into evil" still seemed a bit forced - even though the last panel was nicely done.
Mmmmm...not realy understand what his "true dream" is...but well..chaper was good. Tobirama is a shitface.
I know Kishimoto wanted to add a more dramatic panel, and a dramatic text, but I was a bit taken aback by Madara's sudden turn to evil...it was a bit abrupt for my taste...I know Madara always walked the edge from this POV, but still...
I'm beginning to like Tobirama's character more and more though...before he was just a cool dude with awesome Suiton and cool design, but now he is beginning to transform into something more...

I never expected that hashirama was for madara for being hokage, that's interesting. But man tobirama was harsh toward the uchiha, I guess it's understandable but man he could be a jerk
Madara turning evil was kinda abrupt but he cant drag Flashback for too long, as it is already pretty much lengthy and still at least have a couple more chapters , so it was HIS way to saying that cutting long story short, time passed and madara became evil
Hashirama had the right idea, with he and another head of clan as councilors. But it stands to reason that Tobirama would have just created some form of Root and destabilized Madara's plans anyway.
Having said that. Had he killed himself, the Uchiha would have been exterminated a lot sooner.
