Just thinking about this, but what if Madhouse isn't doing the Gyro thing because they intend to end the anime before the next logical point of him reappearing? I guess they could have skipped his character altogether then, but It would make sense from one standpoint if they were just like 'Well, it's not like Togashi's going to draw this guy any time soon so why should we intro him into the arc when as far as we know he isn't going to be back?' I dunno. I could be wrong and he appears in a future episode, but I just surmised that this may be the reason why they skipped over him being in the same town as Gon and Killua.
Why dedicate half an episode too him and emphasize him if they were going to skip him?
Call me overly optimistic if you want but I believe that one way or another we WILL find out what happened to Gyro in the Madhouse adaptation.
Although there were changes, Madhouse DID remember Kite and despite all of our worries; mine included....I think they did a pretty good job thus far.
So I actually quite strongly believe that this is NOT the end of Gyro's story in the Madhouse version and in fact see Madhouse as putting MORE
emphasis on the character than even the manga itself. Making Gyro's whereabouts a mystery adds MORE focus on his character and not less.
Plus Gyro although still a enigma even in the manga is still actually quite important to the Chimera Ant Arc.
Spoilers for why that is so...
It may not be exact but I have faith that Madhouse will not forget Gyro.
TV airing are going well, and they are making the second Hunter x Hunter movie.. there's no reason to stop, the more they continue it the more filler movies and merchantise they could do to earn from it..
I think we have to reason to worry for now..
Loved the contrast between the music and the scenes occuring when Gon was telling Palm he can't offer her what she wants out of him. That scene is happening with the sweet, calming OST playing while Killua is getting the snot beat out of him at the same time.
The Needle scene overall was a lot more subdued than I pictured it would be in the anime(Atmosphere, music, etc). Not that it's bad, just a different interpretation
Gon was dumped and didn't even know it lol. Just a daily reminder in case anyone forgot, Palm is a lunatic X D

Man, that snake was frightening. Great episode. I wasn't expecting to hear that kind of music when Killua was going to remove the needle. And I found Palm even crazier than in the manga. I must say I absolutely loved that filler with Gon and Killua seating on a bench. You can really see that Killua is relieved now.

Loved the episode.
This episode was all about Palm and Killua's emotions.
Next one would be all about Gon's emotions and his somewhat slide towards the DARK side.
Simply cannot wait...................
Great episode! I remember loving this part in the manga and this week's episode captured it well (Palm's knife dress LOL, not as crazy as in the manga but all is well).
OMG all the Killua feels
Awesome job by MH, that was so damn emotional ;__;
*Another awesome Killua face added*
Oh and from the preview it looks like they will cover 3 chapters next time, lots of great moments ahead of us
