0h...Happy birthday Shinobi.
I have to admit I liked the part about the association best, especially knowing what happens in next arc. But next episode looks like it will be pretty awesome.
Happy Birthday, Shinobi! Thank you again for a wonderful review.
Seeing the images of Killua side-by-side, the manga version is better. I agree.
The ant arc used to be a blur for me too, the scanlation (at least the one I read) was poorly translated, the drawing was (still is) poor for the most part of it + the hiatuses, it all made it a big mess. Though after I bought the Tankobon and read it thoroughly, it became one of my favorite arcs; Gon and Killua have their best moments during it, the main enemy was interesting, the new hunters were mostly interesting characters, some of my favorites characters from the previous arcs (the Phantom Troupe) were in the spotlight and I finally could see their Nen abilities, and the way it ended was superb.
I also like how the Anime is already introducing the next arc, explaining a few things beforehand about the Hunter organization, very well done.

Still, people need to understand Gon. Gon is kindhearted BUT incredibly selfish. He has a big heart but if push comes to shove, he ignores everything but his own desire. At the moment his sole purpose is Nefelpitou, nothing else really matters. Gon does what his heart dictates, a truly free spirit. In that sense, he is just like his father Gin. It's the reason why he attracts people like Killua or Hisoka too. None of them want to be limited by anything. Killua was put in shackles by his family, which actually led to him wanting to escape of this "limited world" even more. In Gon he probably sees what he wanted/wants to be: A person following his heart no matter what, with both the good and bad aspects.
Now I think we agree that Gon and Killua are both quite nice kids as long as they get what they want, but if you take away what's most precious to them, they go berserk. Consequences don't matter because the only thing you really care about is following your heart, facing the consequences comes afterwards. It's what makes Gon so different from other shounen protagonists?"Saving the world? Sure, but only if I enjoy/want it!" Gon having his way is the most important thing to me, everything else is coming afterwards. In that sense Killua and Co. can be glad that he's actually so kindhearted too, and thus often does what we would consider good, but it doesn't change the fact that he's not striving for the better good because of a sense of duty, or for the sake of it, but because he has fun doing it.
Okay, this turned out longer than I thought
nice episode ...the ending was nice too with some spoilers..
animation and drawings were nice..
next episode is one of my favorite parts in the manga..
It's Chairman Netero's Aura
The ED gv me the goosebumps
My memories of the CA arc are also blurry. Luckily, the anime helps. =3

Woah, I missed a lot of episodes. Feels like forever since I last watched. In the last episode I watched I think Kite and Pokkle were still alive, haha. Guess I should catch up one of these days. I missed this forum.
I heard the schedule changed to... Tuesdays was it? They are gonna continue this up to the Election arc, right? I have mixed feelings about that arc, but I still want to see Pariston and Alluka animated.
Lastly, woah. The ED made me teary-eyed. Idk if it's 'cause I haven't watched HxH in so long, but the expressions Gon and Killua had in the end, and the ending with Meruem and Komugi and the colors coming out when the pieces touched was just... wow. I keep replaying the last part over and over. I'm speechless.
