Killua beasting like a boss Awesome episode, and it's going to get even better from here on.
+ Ikalgo time One of my favourite Ants finally showing up
Did anyone else love the way Ikalgo's host sung his lines? I had to rewind the video several times just to hear the cool way he said "Ohhh-Kaayyyy" over and over again.
Did he hum his lines in manga too, or was that something Madhouse did on their own to give him some extra personality? Regardless, I have to give whoever voiced him credit for emoting such a calm and laid-back performance.

In the manga they show quarter notes and "~~~" after his lines, so I think that was MH's interpretation of him "humming":
I ain't gonna lie. There was one thing I was watching this episode for;
and boy did it deliver in spades!:
Killua runs off a sheer cliff with no problem. Of course this is no new feat
and other characters can do it too (I mean pretty much anyone who passed
the 2nd test of the Hunter Exam) but still if I tried that...I'D DIE!
So I gotta give props
Then how he unscrews that centipede? ants head just like that.
Did Killua cut the tree too or was that from the ant's boulder?
I mean how freaking fast do you have to be Killua?
Gotta love how by the time we see Killua fighting the Ant Monkeys
he's already killed one of them. That's worst than being cannon fodder.
That's off screen cannon fodder. Talk about a low blow.
Of course the other monkeys didn't do much better.
Am I the only who was like...slow down Killua! I can't keep up! Lol
I like how the one monkey ant survives because the tree branch breaks.
I like it because I think that is something that would seem to actually happen.
I'm pissed off too Killua! I wanted to see that bombardier ant get annihilated!
Sorry but I found the singing...kinda annoying.
Thank goodness it was short lived. See ya Traflagar Law.
Okay I can't be the only one who thought they look similar.
It was nice to hear that the Zoldyck theme didn't play in this episode.
I was disappointed actually when it was used during Killua vs Rammot
because I want to not hear until a certain time later in which it will fit awesome.
Speaking of music I had thought before that the track Mystic Land would fit
perfectly for Meleron's re-entrance scene and once again Madhouse delivers.
I almost wish that really was Meleron's first entrance. It didn't help that
Madhouse spoiled him last episode. But I guess the voice may have given it
away anyways. Either way it was still a wicked cool entrance.
Though still not as cool an entrance as
How would you feel when you realize we got less than a year till the end of the anime?!
I'm pretty sad, actually. I'm just really, really hoping we can get consistent manga going before the it ends.
I'm being too optimistic, huh? T_T
Maybe we'll have a special announcement at the end of the movie like the last one. More HxH anime, manga, everything!
Maybe we'll get nothing like the past two years
I hope we get at least some Netero movie specials. At least like that we can be sure that he's willing to work.
All I want for Christmas..... is the return of Togashi!!! (I seriously doubt he will comeback in Oct. and Nov.) but there could be a big announcement after the 2nd movie..
Let's cross our fingers....
So recently I've really been getting into Attack on Titan. I've been marathoning the manga and anime like crazy. It's still a bit early to tell but unless the author majorly screws up it could very well end up being one of my top ten favorite manga of all time.
So why am I talking about Attack on Titan in a HxH forum?
Because it reminds me how lucky I am as a HxH fan.
I didn't realize at first but it looks like the anime for Attack on Titan has stopped around the 26 episode mark. I'm not sure if they have any plans of doing more but for now it's over.
I'm sure you all know how INCREDIBLY frustrating this is.
Especially as a manga reader. I don't know what's worse being an anime only viewer and not knowing what happens next and getting anime blue balls or being a manga reader and never getting to see your favorite chapters come to life. It is utterly aggravating.
Look at what we got with HxH anime wise:
1. 1998 anime single episode
2. 1999 TV anime series which stops around Yorknew
3. First OVA which finishes Yorknew
4. Second OVA which does Greed Island
That's not bad itself. But we wanted more and Madhouse delivered
5. The first ever HxH movie with fanservice galore.
6. The upcoming second HxH movie likely with even more fanservice!
7. And finally last but not least a 100+ episode anime series that has in my opinion
and I'm sure many of yours as well has CONSISTENTLY been one of the best anime
they have seen BAR NONE. Saying nothing of Togashi's brilliant storyline the quality
of Madhouse studios is nothing short of amazing. Ok, I will say Production IG looks
like it has better animation at least with Attack On Titan but c'mon that's 26 episodes.
This is 100 episodes and we got bad animation in what...three episodes? Maybe not even.
Of course not EVERY episode is the AMAZING animation but the point is that we can count on Madhouse to DELIVER a quality product day in and day out.
Sure it is possible that Togashi has de facto quit and the anime will end before the would be chapter 341. But we can count on Madhouse to animate all of HxH that IS available.
I don't believe we will be getting another Deadman Wonderland here or worse Claymore.
Anime only endings should really not exist. In any case the anime ending soon is mere speculation. It's a good educated guess but it's as much of an educated guess as someone guessing when the manga will return. There is no confirmation either way.
But as it stands we got an upcoming episode of HxH and that is the way it should be.
