You can't compare Sebastian with Jesus or a Pug...he is only known to the reader and Kikuchi, he is not a random face. Let's not forget what Kikuchi said: "Sebastian...you...".
He arranged a meeting with the owner of the gantz spheres on earth just because a random reporter wanted an interview, he knew about the origin of the spheres and that the fat girl was only a radio. He is definitely above the germans and who else but the god aliens to being above the "owners" of gantz on earth?
I know this was just a translation but i think it was foreshadowing.
Looks like the Spanish version is out:
not alot of words blonde guy says he always wanted to die in a place like this and that he doesn't have any regrets
Hopefully we will have a sad ending, I see the other members of the Tokyo team getting slaughtered and Kurono runs up and absolutely destroys Gonde. But sacrificing himself to save everyone else. I don't see Kato doing shit to be completely honest, he just sits there looking stupid hehe
It'd be funny if Oku finished it the way he started it, that both Kei and Kato die... then in comes a new 'Gantz'!
I really don't understand this ... He should've just let Kei win and wrap this anyway, he already screwed a bit in the Katastrophe arc... Oh well
The whole point is that Gonde isn't so easy to beat. Plus we now know that if Kei fucks up again he's gonna die. Gonde will probably defeat the remainder of the Tokyo team imo.
Odd to see the team injuring Gonde so easily though. The Americans must have been fairly terrible.
Shit... when was it confirmed that the manga will end at 383? That really sucks... Well... It's still my favorite manga despite this third act being somewhat lesser in awesomeness. Still love it and I will Maeshima dearly...he went out fairly easily, surprisingly...and disappointingly.
I wish that his writing hadn't depreciated and he still loved the series as much as he did during phase 2, it feels like he simply lost interest and apparently so if the manga is ending so abruptly... *Sigh*... I shall continue the story of destruction and power mongering of the black spheres of hope in my dreams...
What I liked about this chapter, especially Maeshima's fight - is that we finally got to see some of Gonde's movement start to 'defy all logic'. Really cool to see him completely change momentum instantly to respond to Maeshima's attacks. Any one of that dudes punches ought to have been enough to break one of Gonde's legs or something. If he continues from this point on to fight like that it is going to be very interesting to read.
I'm really struggling to figure out what on earth the point of Katastrophe was though. The Tokyo Team really had very little to do with actually stopping the giants. They were just 'present'. It kind seems like it was solely about the two Kei clones with cameos from the rest of the cast :/

I don't know if they've released the final Volume covers yet but it should be the two Kei's on the front with Tae somewhere in the middle, and everyone else can be squeezed into the background or just fucking ignored. Completely.
Has the end been confirmed? As in "There are two chapters left in the series." The statement I saw in the manga was quite ambiguous. It might just mean the battle is over in two chapters, initiating the beginning of the end. Not simply killing one giant and ending everything at that point.
But, who knows? I could be wrong.
I think it was definitely confirmed that this was the last volume. Unlikely that it's going to go on for much longer in any case.
