I haven't seen anyone saying anything about the writing on a wall in snk's second ending and I don't know Japanese so I can't translate it.
Does anyone know what it's saying? Is it even readable? Or is it just the same story that calorescence translated on their tumblr (the first post in this thread has a link to it)?

I think it's the same story as the one in the cover of the SnK manga, that may be why nobody bothered to do a different article for the same thing.

    No idea, unfortunately.

Thought I'd update this thread a little though, since we've had another (serious - I'm not including the dirty jokes by an assistant thing) entry. When I flipped the text in chapter 69's phial label both vertically and horizontally, I was able to make out some individual characters but it wasn't until I found this blog post that I could form words from what I saw (as mentioned here). So +1 to the backwards-and-upside-down collection, and here is the (flipped) image:

    「フツウノキョジン」
"regular titan" or "ordinary titan" (literally "the usual <type of> titan")
