Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!
Status: Airing soon
Aired: Jul 8, 2013 to ?
Producers: Square Enix, Silver Link
Kuroki Tomoko is a super popular, high school girl who has had 50 years of dating experience and 100 boys... in the Otome game world. In the real world, she is a 15-year-old shut in who has all of the qualities of a "mojo" (a gloomy or unpopular woman).
However, when school isn't going as she expected, and she isn't as popular as she had thought she was, she takes a look at herself in the mirror for the first time in a few years, and has some shocking revelations...
The standard plot summary does not do this series justice. One last PV, before the show airs:
im so glad silver link is doing this series
they do such an excellent job, they will really bring the manga to life
not a bad manga at all, but this could be one of the cases where an anime surpasses its manga counterpart
Best 1st episode and best opening of this season. Tomoko is too funny. Seeing her surfing alone in the dark reminded me of Death Note. I'll read the manga at the end of the anime if it stays that good.
Duckfaces... Please don't do that again Tomoko... T__T
She is way too cute when is too shy to hold a conversation...
Though I really feel sorry for her... Maybe she should just start to sleep more often so that her eye circles vanish...?
Anyway... promising start... I hope she'll find a friend soon.
i am excited about this series, i love the manga
hopefully i will be able to get off of work early and watch it when i get home
Magnificent. Watemote is one of my favorite manga, the anime totally lived up to my expectations. Kitta Izumi perfectly captured Mokocchi; whiny, self involved, petulant, and kind of pathetic. The OP was epic, I did not expect metal
you can tell tomokos brother really wants to help her or feels sorry for her
she would be super cute if she just tried harder; but thats what makes the show so hilarious
i cant get over how she cant even say goodbye to the teacher
i was also a fan of the voice acting, absolutely perfect fit
Good Lord that opening.
I was so not expecting slice of life with this kind of OP.XDDD
Haha awesome, how could I miss that? It's so obviously a parody of Death Note, the whole scene is identical to Light writing down the names like mad
Great catch Bea, makes the first episode even better.
They also used Steins;Gate in the Opening.XD
Look at 1:17 of WataMote.
Then look at Mayuris Habit.
Yeah, the Death Note reference is awesome. They even have the books in the background.XDD

Oh Tomoko... She ha a yandere boys abusing CD? There is stuff like that? Oh god...
Watching her makes me feel depressed too... What has she done wrong in her live to deserve such solitude? Even when she finally regains hope because her old friend still is somewhat like her... It get's crushed because Yuu already has a boyfriend...
That just hurts... :'(
Poor Tomoko-chan... Even the portrait wasn't really about her...
Too much. That Yamcha reference was too much

and.the imaginary adult version of her "on the mana gathering adventure" was totally cute id let her have my unpopular babies
lol at her peeking at the girls panties on the stairs to see what kind of panties a girl with a bf wears
im very glad her and yuu are still close, tomoko needs a good friend
it was touching to see her shout out about how she wasnt having fun but she was trying
you really saw her open up when she talked about anime
i love how after the imaginary scene she says "if losing your virginity hurts this much ill stay a virgin forever!!!"

Tomoko" It's raining
Boy: Oh, yeah, I guess it is.
I really felt bad to have laughed in the first part but the second one was pure win. Tomoko vent her frustration on Tomoki who finally hits her( even if he didn't want to do it in the first episode). I knew what answer Yuu would have chosen but it sill made me laugh.
