Hey me again!
Okay so the sentence I'm having trouble with is:
I get the 「いつもどおり」part, but not sure about the rest.
For context I think just showing the page would be faster than explaining. If you need more explanation let me know ^^
The word I need help with is 「ポヤン」
I think it's being used as SFX... it shows under a picture of a girl one a guy remembers who she is
Let me know if any additional details would be helpful! Thanks~
I don't read this manga, so I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that
goes along the lines of
I should have said (or whatever action the character usually does) a thing or two as always!
And ポヤン is indeed a SFX, used when a thought comes to mind.
Hope this helps!
hmm. this is only the first chapter and this character has basically just been introduced, so I can't really say that she says or does anything in particular on a regular-ish basis. Would it make sense to just translate it as "I should have just said something like I usually do" or "I should have just done what I usually do" ?
ahh, okay so ポヤン is like the light bulb going on? lol Would just translating it as "ah ha!" get the same feeling across?
