1) Bioshock Infinite for many reasons:
+ the overall design. This is the kind of games for which you can say it's a real piece of art.
+ Colorful characters. Each character is likable
+ Gameplay. It's simple but it's just working well
+ Scenario. Even if some stuff is predictable, it's overall a great story
+ often spectacular
+ Masterful ending
- There isn't a single real weakness for me in this game.
2) The last of us
+ Best acting & most realistic characters in a video game
+ more than 15h which is big for this kind of game
+ Excellent drama
+ Simply unique experience
- I didn't like the ending.
- Gameplay is not perfect. You're playing an old man ... and you feel it. It's disturbing when you come from uncharted
3) Tomb Raider
+ I didn't like Lara Croft before ... but this one is good. You actually care for her
+ Great gameplay: stealth, action, thinking, ...
+ Quite a good story too
+ many possibilities to clear a level
- No real weaknesses
Bioshock Infinite will probably remain my game of the year. I don't expect much from the second half of the year.
My best surprise of the year is tomb raider as I didn't expect something that good.
The last of us is pretty awesome.
How can you call something "Game of the year" if it isn't even released yet?
No doubt Battlefield will be a top-title for all the shooter-gamers, but naming ist Goty before it even comes out makes your oppinion seem kind of biased.
Right now "The Last of Us" would be it for me... but I'll wait for "Beyond: Two souls" until I make my decision.
There is still too much of 2013 left, to really tell... keep in mind that we will also have a lot auf launch-titles for ps4 and Xbox1.
"Roses are red, that much is true.
But violets are purple... they're not fucking blue."
Heh. I'm going with Last of Us, but it's almost tied with Bioshock Infinte. Despite both being fiction Last Of Us just feels more realistic.
Difficult question... At the moment I would choose Tales of Xillia but I haven't finished KH 1.5 or GTA V yet. Furthermore AC4 and Batman will be released soon too...
2013 is a dark year for me...there ain't no shit worth playing!
Still havent played Guided Fate Paradox or Disgaea D2 but one of those may be mind for this year. The Last of Us was quite good but that ending was meh.
Not that I have it...
I really want a 3DS now
The Last of Us, Bioshock is a good story but a game like the last of us comes every ten years. Nothing like it at all.
