Story details revealed:
Oh great! Another movie focus on Gon x Killua.I like them and all but give Leorio and Kurapika some time to shine.
The plot actually sound pretty good but I'm afraid the execution of the film could be bad. So, I'm not exactly looking forward to it.
Please more infos about Seirin group.
I have mixed feelings about this movie as well. The plot sounds really interesting (more interesting than the last one, IMO), but I'm afraid it will be poorly executed like the last one... I sincerely hope they do Netero justice.
I'm sad about the absence of Kurapika and Leorio... but who knows? Maybe they'll show up anyway?
It's felt like it's been forever! since I've post here Been busy with personal crap, but after hearing about the news! I had to come here and pay a visit, haha. I'm so excited! The last movie was okay, but I have a whole lot more faith that this movie will be better, and the plot sounds interesting. Also Netero looks so badass! in the poster
Let's hope it will be executed better than the 1st movie.
Also, Togashi should come back now from this hiatus he took, or we're going to end up with fillers like this in the anime.
Episodes in old series written by Kishima:
2: Encounter × Hesitation × Departure
5: Lies × Truth? × Kiriko
9: Menchi × Furious × Second Phase?
16: Rock × Scissors × Heart
20: Big Waves × Big Cannon × Huge Rush (the warship filler episode)
25: Slither × Stinger × In The Cave
29: Pass × Fail × Exam Over
32: Sightseeing × Landmark × Killua's House
36: Coin Toss × Reunion × Change of Clothes
41: Bungee × Punch × One Round Battle
46: I'm Home × Welcome Back × I'm Killua
51: Spider × Yorknew × Assemble
53: Phantom Troupe × The Shadow Beasts × Community
57: Gon × Treasure × Dangerous Man
62: Kurapika × Friends × End of Spiders (final TV episode)
For York Shin OVA, he wrote episodes 1, 3, 5, and 7 as he was the series composer for it. And for GI episodes all episode scripts were written by him. He has also written some anime novels for HxH(novels like this used to be popular around that time) and a couple of drama CD stories about Kurapika's Nen training. I've generally enjoyed the filler stories written by him so I expect this to be better than Phantom Rouge at least.

Also, guys Im gonna be honest and say that While I like Kurapika and Leorio, I don't actually miss them all that much. Kurapika I think I like him best when he is hunting for Spiders, and Leorio is a cool guy, but its Gon and Killua who capture my attention the most they are just a great team together and so interesting.
I actually think I prefer Gon, Killua, and Biscuit than Gon, Leorio, Kurapika, Killua. Although Im really glad that they're in the series, I wouldn't change a thing. Or maybe its just the fact that I haven't seen all 4 of them together in a long time making me forget how good their dynamic was, oh well.
As long as we get Netero kicking ass then I'm game.
Though the description makes me wonder how far the anime will be at that time because it's starting to sound lie stuff we heard about in the arc AFTER Chimera Ant.
Can anybody translate the story??
Something like this should've been done a long time ago. It's Hunter X Hunter not Gon X Killua. Hunter's Association is the center of the universe of the HXH world and we literally have no idea what they're doing prior to the Election Arc.
^ Funny story about that actually. Back when I first saw the title "Hunter x Hunter" I thought it was a shipping thing
I don't mind if Kurapika and Leorio aren't in this movie. As we've seen by the last movie after all, anyone but Togashi writting for their reasons behind even being there tends to end badly. The title "The Last Mission" is pretty intersting too. I assume this will either be Netero's last mission before
So the one writting the script is a bit of a veteran to the HxH animated series? That gets my thumbs up already. But wait, episode 2...that zoo animal plot was written by him? I'm not too sure how I feel about that one but he did introduce Leorio pretty nicely. As for the GI OVAs, I wouldn't say it was the scripts that made them bad but rather whoever was directing them.
Wait, you read the manga Riruru?
The story seems more interesting to me than Phantom Rouge, it may be entertaining. Though Kishima wrote some of the worst episodes of Nippon anime...
