I would But I am going to sleep now. But for a manhwa fan and since you are Korean, you must read the Breaker. I may post sometimes tomorrow but I am so busy.
Kurien - but yeah - I do read the breaker.
Sure hit me up some recs latter or sth.
Goodnight /tc !
i have 5 scars, but they dont look cool...probably not enough for a nakama
three on my stomach and two in my face
Haha, sorry, Charlie, I had not done my research on my recommendation. I have 3 chemistry labs, one biology class, and a junk class this semester + the pcat. I am so so busy.
But, most of the series and its version, I stated on one of the previous post. Should be really good and you probably can find it on youtube (also check the wikipedia page).
Mazino, hmmm, I think you need to do some surgery and move your scars to your chest than your stomach lol
Is one of the two on your face is over your eyes?
lol - nah, take your time.
See, we can be buddies,Quote:
Nakamas or whatever
I personaly went to the avant première back in June,I already bought tickets for the next ova set to be projected on November. "Good" is not enough when we're talking about the GITS franchise. I once read on the ANN forums a very suitable quote "The Ghost In The Shell name carries a lot of weight internationaly" They don't make much anime for adults anymore these days, so yeah this better be good.Quote:
As for my final thoughts, I'll wait until I've seen all the OVAs, Dechypher the scripts & stuff
until then wait & see.
A personal man crush of mine MANLIER than Manly Pure badassery!!!
To be honest, I haven't seen that many series. Some of them was outdated and was probably good for the child me.
Anyhow, these are the ones I think may still be entertaining to watch even now.
This is an easy one, if you a fan of Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury, then check this tv version of the movie. Both are based on Chen Zhen, a fictional student of the infamous Huo Yuanjia. Huo Yuanjia also had many movies based on him like Jet Lee's Fearless. Both are in this tv show. The time is around the colonialism influence in Asia to around the rise of Japan.
The main character is played by a young Donnie Yen which has a lot of name recognition nowadays following the footstep of Jet Lee and Jackie Chan.
Shanghai Bund 2007 or Blood Stained Shanghai Bay
Watch the opening song, this is a remade of the classic series of the same name. About the same time setting with Fist of Fury, this one focus on the gangland/mafia which is more like an Al Capone series. I haven't seen this series, but I like Huang Xiao Ming acting.
Wiki did a good job at explaining
One of the few scify series I saw, a about a law enforcer accidentally time travel to the Qin dynasty and help the Qin Emperor to create the first Chinese Empire.
Last on the list is Young Justice Bao series 1 and 3. Skipped 2, both can be stand alone series since a lot of actors change. This is about a fictional account of a teenage of the infamous Judge Bao. One of the most fair and uncorrupted in China History, he would punish even the most powerful/influential and even members of the royal families. This series is focus more on the mystery and murder cases. But historically, I don't know if he a genius Sherlock Holmes. Most likely he wasn't.
The good thing, is that I thought it well made. The bad thing is that they stole a lot of Detective Conan manga. But if you can overlook that, you may feel the incorporation was well done.
